TL;DR
- The Sanctum of Faith is in the Grey Forest, Delesyia — use a nearby Abyss Nexus to fast travel close.
- Clear all Antumbra enemies until the green liberation bar hits 0% before you can cleanse.
- Two cores needed: Fusion Reactor Core: XI (behind vine-covered door, drop right) and Fusion Reactor Core: XXXII-IV (floating in ruined room, go right then left from the front).
- Watch for the green leaves glow — that’s your signal both cores are correctly positioned.
- For Core XXXII-IV, the flat edge must face left before you Force Palm it in.
- Completing this is one of four sanctums needed for the Witch of Humility’s full reward.
The Sanctum of Faith sits in the Grey Forest in Delesyia, in the southeast corner of the map. Like every sanctum in Crimson Desert, you need two things before the cleansing puzzle becomes available — you must have already met the Witch of Humility, and you must clear the Antumbra enemies until the green liberation bar on the left reaches 0%.
Don’t skip the liberation step. Even if you grab the cores early, you cannot slot them into the generator until the area is fully cleared. Use arrows or ranged attacks to deal with flying Antumbra wizards first, then clean up the ground units.
If you can’t find the generator after clearing the area, open your Journal, find the Darkness over the Sanctum section, and mark the Sanctum of Faith quest. This drops a tracker directly on your minimap.
For other Witch of Humility sanctums, we have walkthroughs for the Sanctum of Oblation, and guides on the Sanctum of Veneration and Sanctum of Devotion as well.
Where Is the Sanctum of Faith in Crimson Desert?
The Sanctum of Faith is located in the Grey Forest, northeast of Delesyia. The quickest way to reach it is to fast travel to the nearest Abyss Nexus in the area and follow the path on foot from there. Check our fast travel guide if you’re still unlocking nexus points.
Before You Start — Key Mechanics
Axiom Force — Hold L3 (PS) / Hold LB (Xbox) / Hold TAB (PC) to grab and push heavy objects. Without this you cannot move Reactor Cores. See our Axiom Force guide if needed.
Kuku Pot — The transport system for Reactor Cores. Seal items in, Discard them back out at the destination. Lost yours? Check the supply chest at Howling Hill Greymane Camp, or run the “Kuku Pot Production” dispatch mission at your camp.
Blinding Flash — L1+R1 then hold L1 (PS) / LB+RB then hold LB (Xbox) / CTRL+Left Click then CTRL (PC). Used to burn the vines blocking the first core. See our Blinding Flash guide for details.
Force Palm / Aerial Force Palm — R3 while airborne (PS/Xbox) / Mouse Wheel while airborne (PC). Used to slam cores into place. You can also use Focus + Force Palm (L3+R3, then R3) as an alternative for precise placement.
Green leaves glowing around a core means it’s correctly aligned and ready to be locked in. If you don’t see them, reposition the core.
How to Cleanse the Sanctum of Faith in Crimson Desert
Two Fusion Reactor Cores need to be found, transported, and slotted correctly. Here’s exactly how to do both.

Part 1 – Find and Place the Fusion Reactor Core: XI
This core is behind a vine-covered door to the right of the main sanctum.
- Once the sanctum is cleared, drop down to the right from the main area.
- You’ll find a door blocked by red thorns and vines.
- Use Blinding Flash to burn the vines away and open the path.
- Inside the cleared room, look in the corner — the Fusion Reactor Core: XI is there.
- Use Axiom Force to grab it, then press Triangle (PS) / Y (Xbox) / R (PC) to Seal it into the Kuku Pot.
- Return to the sanctum generator.
- Open your inventory, go into the Kuku Pot, and select “Discard” on the Fusion Reactor Core: XI.
- Use Axiom Force to drag it to the empty battery slot on the left side of the sanctum generator.
- When the green leaves glow around it, it’s correctly positioned. Use Force Palm (R3) to push it into place.
Part 2 – Find and Place the Fusion Reactor Core: XXXII-IV
This core is inside a ruined room to the right of the sanctum front entrance.

- Stand facing the front of the sanctum.
- Head right, then turn left into a small ruin with a collapsed ceiling.
- In the center of the room, you’ll find the Fusion Reactor Core: XXXII-IV floating in the air.
- Use Axiom Force to grab it, then press Triangle / Y / R to Seal it into the Kuku Pot.
- Return to the sanctum generator and Discard the core from the Kuku Pot to drop it nearby.
- Use Axiom Force to push it toward the back right pillar — this pillar is missing its top piece.
- Rotate and position the core so the flat edge faces left. This is the correct orientation — it won’t slot correctly otherwise.
- When the green leaves glow, the core is aligned. Stand as close to the pillar as possible and use Jump + Force Palm to slam it into place.
What Happens After You Cleanse the Sanctum of Faith?
Once both cores are locked in, the generator activates and the Witch of Humility visits. This counts toward the Exploration Challenge for this location and progresses the Darkness over the Sanctum questline.
You need all four of the Witch of Humility’s sanctums cleansed to unlock her full reward. The other three are the Sanctum of Oblation, Sanctum of Veneration, and Sanctum of Devotion. Once all four are done, her reward becomes available.
Common Issues and Fixes
“I cleared the enemies but the puzzle won’t activate.” Make sure the green liberation bar is fully at 0%. Even one stray enemy can block progression. Check around the edges of the area — Antumbra soldiers sometimes patrol the perimeter.
“I can’t find the vine-covered door for Core XI.” Drop down to the right from the main sanctum area, not straight ahead. The door is below the main level.
“Core XXXII-IV won’t slot into the pillar.” Rotate it until the flat edge is on the left. The green leaves won’t appear until the orientation is correct. This is the most common sticking point on this puzzle.
“The Force Palm won’t connect.” Stand as close to the pillar base as possible before jumping. If the angle is off, try the Focus + Force Palm method (L3+R3, then R3) for more controlled placement.
“I lost the Kuku Pot.” Check the supply chest at Howling Hill Greymane Camp, or dispatch the “Kuku Pot Production” mission at your camp to make a new one.
