Sanctum of Expiation Location in Crimson Desert
The Sanctum of Expiation sits east of Drakesfall Gorge and is part of the Witch of Strength quest line. The quickest way to get there is to teleport to the nearest Abyss Nexus and follow the path until you spot the large ruins. You cannot miss them.
Like every other sanctum in the game, you need to walk around the outside of the building and defeat enemies as you go. A percentage bar tracks your progress. Once it drops to zero, the sanctum is liberated and you can enter freely to start the cleansing process. How to Cleanse the Sanctum of Expiation in Crimson Desert
Cleansing this sanctum means tracking down two missing Fusion Reactor Cores and slotting them back into the generator. Here is exactly how to do it.
Step 1 — Reach the Lower Floor
After the opening cutscene, you will find yourself on the upper floor. Open your mini-map and look for the cube marker. Follow it down to the lower floor. You will find veins blocking the path forward — burn them away. Any fire weapon works, fire arrows work, and the Blinding Flash skill works just as well.
Step 2 — Get Fusion Reactor Core: VII
Head inside and look up. You will spot a cube above you. Activate Axiom Force, aim it upward at the cube, and seal it to extract Fusion Reactor Core: VII into your Kuku Pot. If you are not yet comfortable with this mechanic, our Axiom Force guide covers everything you need to know.
Now find the hollow square slot on the generator nearby. Discard the core from your Kuku Pot, use Axiom Force to grab it, and then hit it with Force Palm to push it firmly into place.
Step 3 — Get Fusion Reactor Core: XIV-I
Head north through the archway into a room with a crumbling roof. On the right side of the room, you will see iron bars. Look through them — there is a core behind those bars. Use Axiom Force to reach through and seal Fusion Reactor Core: XIV-I into your Kuku Pot.
Bring it back to the generator. Discard it, then use Axiom Force to rotate the core until it completes the pillar. You will know you have the right angle when green leaves start floating around the core — that is your visual confirmation.
Once it is aligned, climb the pillar, jump, and use Aerial Force Palm to lock the core into its final position.
Puzzle Complete — Witch of Strength Reward
With both cores in place, the Sanctum of Expiation is fully cleansed. A cutscene plays and the Witch of Strength appears personally to thank you for your efforts. Your reward is Blueprint II: Kuku Lightning-Resistant Armor.
