The fastest way to get there is to fast travel to the Smoking Lands Abyss Nexus near Deadfire Mountain, then head east until the terrain shifts from green to rocky. You are looking for a set of old ruins in an open area with no label above them.
How to Get the Bringer of Balance
Step 1: Find the Trapdoor
Once you reach the unnamed ruins, walk around the area until you spot a trapdoor on the ground. It blends in easily with the dusty stone floor, so look carefully. Interact with it to open it and climb down the ladder.
Step 2: Avoid the Two Traps
Right after you descend the ladder, two traps are waiting for you. Jump over both of them. Do not walk straight — they will trigger and deal damage. Just jump and you will clear them cleanly.
Step 3: Pull the Wall Handle
After clearing the traps, head into the pathway on the left side of the room. On the wall, you will find a handle or lever. Interact with it. This pulls open a hidden door that reveals a secret chamber.
Step 4: Pick Up the Bringer of Balance
Walk into the revealed room and interact with the weapon. It is yours. No boss fight, no puzzle chain, no quest requirement. Just navigate, avoid the traps, pull the handle, and take it.
