Destiny 2 event weapons and armor from Festival of the Lost, The Dawning, Guardian Games, and Solstice are no longer locked to limited-time events. With Monument of Triumph in 2026, all four events were retired as live activities, but their rewards moved into permanent acquisition paths. This guide explains exactly where to find them and what each method costs.

Why Event Rewards Changed in 2026
Monument of Triumph is Destiny 2’s final live-service update. Bungie retired all four seasonal events — Festival of the Lost, The Dawning, Guardian Games, and Solstice — because there are no more seasonal cycles to run them. The events aren’t coming back, but their rewards aren’t gone.
Bungie split the event loot into two separate systems: weapons went to the Tenet of Bravery vendor for Legendary Marks, and armor ornaments went to Bright Engram Focusing in the Eververse. Neither system has an expiry date. Nothing is FOMO. Take your time.
How to Get Event Weapons — Tenet of Bravery Engrams
Event weapons are purchased as engrams from the Tenet of Bravery vendor in the Tower Courtyard. The Tenet vendors sit behind the Monument of Triumph structure in the center of the Courtyard.
To unlock the Tenet of Bravery vendor — and all other Tenet vendors — you need to first interact with the Monument of Triumph itself and then make your first purchase at the Tenet of Bravery. After that initial purchase, all four Tenet vendors open.
Cost: 2 Legendary Marks per engram. No weekly cap. Infinite purchase.
Each engram pulls a random weapon from the specified event pool. Every weapon that drops comes at Tier 5 with a full upgrade path — you don’t need to worry about getting an outdated version of an old weapon.
The event weapon pools available at Tenet of Bravery include:
- Dawning engram — weapons from The Dawning event pool, including the new Dawning Far Off machine gun added in Monument of Triumph
- Festival of the Lost engram — weapons from Festival of the Lost pools across multiple years
- Guardian Games engram — weapons from the Guardian Games event pool
- Solstice engram — Solstice weapons including armor, plus the two new 2026 Solstice weapons: the Rapid Growth sniper rifle and a new Solstice Hand Cannon that were planned for the 2026 Solstice event before it was cancelled
- Iron Banner, Pinnacle Ops, Crucible, Fireteam Ops engrams — also available at the vendor alongside event pools
The Solstice weapons deserve a specific callout. Solstice 2026 was cancelled before it ran. The two new weapons intended for it — the Rapid Growth sniper rifle and the new hand cannon — were never earnable in a live event. The only way to get them is through the Tenet vendor engrams.
How to Get Event Armor Ornaments — Bright Engram Focusing
Event armor ornaments are handled through a separate system: Bright Engram Focusing in the Eververse store.
Open the Eververse from the Tower. Go to the Bright Engrams section. Navigate to page 2, where you’ll find Hunter, Titan, and Warlock Ornament Engrams. These engrams pull cosmetics — armor ornaments, emotes, shaders, accessories — from retired event pools including Festival of the Lost, The Dawning, Guardian Games, and Solstice.
Cost: approximately 600 Bright Dust and 1 Eververse Engram per ornament engram pull.
Bright Engram Focusing has no duplicates. Every pull gives you something you don’t already own from that category’s pool. Once you own everything in the pool, that category locks. This makes it more efficient than the old random Bright Engram system — you’re guaranteed progress toward completing each event’s ornament set.
Bright Dust is earned through the Seasonal Hub weekly objectives and the Triumphant Rewards Pass. The daily Bright Dust offer rotation in Eververse is also worth checking before spending heavily on focused engrams — specific items sometimes appear at a better direct price in the daily rotation.
How to Get Eververse Engrams Using Chronologs
If you’re short on Eververse Engrams for Bright Engram Focusing, there’s a shortcut. Go to the Monument to Seasons Past in the Tower Courtyard — it sits in front of Banshee-44, next to the Monument to Lost Lights. Select the Exchange Chronologs option. You can purchase Eververse Engrams for 200 Chronologs each.
This is a practical bridge between Chronolog farming and armor ornament farming. If you have Chronologs to spare after buying what you want from old season passes, convert them into Eververse Engrams for Bright Engram Focusing. For more on Chronolog sources, see our Destiny 2 Chronologs guide.
Event Armor Ornaments Now Work on Exotic Armor
Monument of Triumph added True Exotic Armor Transmog for PvE. You can now apply Legendary and lower-rarity armor ornaments — including event armor ornaments — to Exotic armor pieces in PvE. The Exotic background and icon still display in your loadout screen.
This makes event armor ornaments significantly more valuable than they were before Monument of Triumph. A Festival of the Lost ornament you earn through Bright Engram Focusing can now go on your best Exotic armor in PvE without losing the Exotic’s functionality. In PvP, only ornaments specifically designed for the equipped Exotic piece are visually active.
If you’ve been skipping event ornaments because they didn’t work on Exotics, that restriction is gone in PvE as of 2026.
Which Events Had Weapons vs. Armor-Only Rewards
The split between weapons and armor differs slightly by event:
- Festival of the Lost: Weapons in Tenet engrams. Armor ornaments in Bright Engram Focusing. Masks and event-exclusive cosmetics in the Bright Engram pool.
- The Dawning: Weapons in Tenet engrams, including the new Dawning Far Off machine gun. Armor ornaments in Bright Engram Focusing.
- Guardian Games: Weapons in Tenet engrams. Guardian Games armor ornaments in Bright Engram Focusing.
- Solstice: Both weapons and armor are available in Solstice-specific Tenet engrams. Solstice armor ornaments also appear in Bright Engram Focusing. Solstice is the one event where armor drops exist in both systems.
How to Farm Legendary Marks for Event Weapon Engrams
At 2 Marks per event engram pull, the Tenet vendor is one of the most accessible farming loops in the game. A few hours of Triumph completion gives you enough Marks to run dozens of pulls.
The fastest Legendary Marks come from Tower Triumphs — quick challenges like petting Archie, scoring the hidden net goal, completing the Floor is Lava challenge, and spawning the Tower giant ball each award 10 Marks for under five minutes of work each. Tips for Getting Event Weapons and Armor Efficiently
Use attunement before pulling engrams. Before buying event weapon engrams from the Tenet vendor, set your attunement in your inventory to the weapon type you want. Attunement Anywhere is free, has no cooldown, and increases your chances of getting that specific weapon archetype from the pool. Don’t pull without it set.
Don’t duplicate-spend on armor ornaments. Bright Engram Focusing gives no duplicates. If you pull repeatedly from the same ornament category, you’ll eventually own everything. Track what you have before spending Bright Dust.
Check the daily Bright Dust rotation in Eververse before focusing. Some event cosmetics appear in the daily direct purchase rotation at a set price. If the ornament you want is in the rotation, buying it directly is more efficient than pulling focused engrams.
Solstice 2026 weapons are Tenet-exclusive. The Rapid Growth sniper and the new Solstice hand cannon never dropped in a live event. The only path to them is through Solstice engrams at the Tenet of Bravery. There’s no other method.
All event rewards are permanent. Nothing here expires. The Monument of Triumph and Tenet vendors have no end date. Bright Engram Focusing stays available indefinitely. Farm at whatever pace works for you.
