TL;DR
- Spend Character Pixels and complete Daily Quests first — these are the highest-priority tasks every single day.
- Daily resets happen at 5:00 AM UTC+8. Weekly resets happen every Monday at 5:00 AM UTC+8.
- Visit Nacupeda’s Pool daily and always pick “Make a Sincere Wish” for Mhm! Coins toward a free S-Rank Arc.
- Collect Cafe by Origen profits and restock ingredients every session. An empty cafe earns nothing.
- Weekly priorities: Anomaly Pilgrimage, all City Stamina in Hethereau Hobbies, Ebisu’s Auction, Realm of Greed, and Special Commissions.
- Monthly: exchange Lost Pieces at the Mall’s Lost Exchange before the 1st of each month resets the shop.
NTE: Neverness to Everness is an open-world game that quietly punishes players who log in without a plan. Miss your Character Pixels for a couple of days and you fall behind on upgrade materials. Forget to restock your cafe and your passive Fons income stalls. Skip the weekly reset windows and you permanently lose resources that do not carry over.
The good news is that once you know the full list, most of this takes only 15 to 30 minutes per day. This guide covers everything — daily tasks, weekly tasks, and monthly tasks — in priority order so you never leave free rewards on the table. You can download NTE on Android via Google Play or on PlayStation via the PS Store.
Understanding NTE’s Two Stamina Systems
Before getting into the checklist, it helps to understand how NTE splits its two progression currencies. Getting this wrong is one of the most common mistakes new players make.
Character Pixels are the main stamina resource. They recover at a rate of 1 every 6 minutes, which works out to 240 per 24 hours. You spend them on Anomaly Zones and combat-based content to earn upgrade materials, Arcs, and character progression items. This is the resource tied to building your characters and clearing content.
City Stamina is a completely separate stamina bar used exclusively for Hethereau Hobbies — the game’s collection of minigames. It does not regenerate daily. Instead, it fully resets every Monday at 5:00 AM UTC+8. Any unspent City Stamina at reset time is permanently lost. Every point of City Stamina spent in any minigame gives exactly 1,000 Fons, regardless of which game you play.
Keep these two systems clearly separated in your head. Character Pixels refill daily and should be spent every day. City Stamina fills weekly and must be drained before Monday’s reset.

NTE Daily Reset Time
All daily tasks, Daily Quests, and daily caps reset at 5:00 AM UTC+8 every day. Weekly content resets every Monday at 5:00 AM UTC+8. Plan your sessions around these windows, especially if you play late at night and are near a reset.
Daily Routine Checklist — NTE
These are the tasks you should complete every time you log in. They are listed in priority order, starting with the most important.
1. Spend All Character Pixels (Highest Priority)
This is the single most important task every day. Character Pixels cap at 240 per 24 hours. If you log in with a full bar and do not spend it, you are actively wasting regeneration time.
Spend them on Anomaly Zone dungeons. The drop rates in Anomaly Zones scale directly with the stage’s difficulty, so always challenge the highest level your team can clear. Farming lower tiers is a waste of stamina value. You can track available dungeon locations and jump to them quickly through the Exploration Guide — open it from your in-game smartphone or press F1 on PC.
Once you burn through your Pixels, your Activity Level will usually hit 100 naturally, which unlocks all the daily premium rewards without needing to do anything extra. The Anomaly Zones guide for NTE covers which zones and difficulties are worth targeting at each Hunter Level.
2. Complete Your Four Daily Quests
Daily Quests award a combined 1,000 Hunter EXP when all four are completed. They unlock after finishing Prologue Part 2 of the main story. If you have not reached that point yet, push the main story first.
The four Daily Quests and their EXP values are:
- Daily Login: 200 EXP
- Earn 10,000 Fons: 200 EXP
- Consume Character Pixels: 300 EXP
- Get 100 Daily Activity Points: 300 EXP
Spending your Character Pixels on Anomaly Zones covers the Consume Character Pixels quest automatically. The Fons quest gets completed as a natural side effect of normal play. All four reset at 5:00 AM UTC+8 every day. The 1,000 EXP per day adds up fast across a week and keeps your Hunter Level progressing steadily.
3. Visit Nacupeda’s Pool
Head to Nacupeda’s Pool once per day and interact to receive a daily reward. You will be given a choice of dialogue options. Always select “Make a Sincere Wish” if you are building toward the exclusive S-Rank Arc tied to Mhm! Coins. Each sincere wish earns one Mhm! Coin, which is exchanged over time for the Arc reward. The alternative option gives furniture and miscellaneous items instead, which are not worth trading the Arc progress for.
If you visit Nacupeda’s Pool every day without missing, you will eventually earn one of the best free S-Rank rewards in the game. It is a low-effort task that takes under a minute each day.
4. Get Your Fortune at The Witch’s House
The Witch’s House offers one free fortune per day. The three possible outcomes are a combat buff for your characters, a map reveal for hidden loot locations nearby, or a minor currency reward. None of these cost anything to claim and all of them provide some value. There is no reason to ever skip this.
The loot location reveals are particularly useful for players who are working through exploration tasks or trying to farm specific crafting materials. Check your minimap after claiming the fortune to see if any nearby collectibles have been marked.
5. Collect Cafe Profits and Restock Ingredients
If you have unlocked the Cafe by Origen, it passively accumulates Fons while you are offline. Every session, open the cafe, withdraw your earnings, and restock your ingredients before logging off. An empty ingredient supply stops the Fons generation entirely, meaning you earn nothing while offline.
Restocking ingredients takes priority over just collecting. Many players collect the profits but forget to restock, which means the cafe sits empty and generates nothing until the next login. Do not make that mistake. This is passive income that runs 24 hours a day if you keep it running.
6. Farm Fons with Chiz
Holding down Chiz’s Basic Attack against enemies farms Fons directly from them. There is a daily cap on how much you can earn this way, so try to hit it every day. It takes only a few minutes. Once you are near the cap from regular play, this is a quick top-up before logging off.
Chiz is a free character given to every player through the main story. Even if she is not on your main combat team, keep her on a secondary slot specifically for Fons farming. The daily cap is modest, but missing it across multiple days compounds into a real resource deficit over time.
7. Give Gifts to Characters
You can give gifts up to 10 times per day, with a maximum of 3 gifts per individual character. Gifts raise Affection levels, which unlock bond stories, passive bonuses, and relationship rewards. This is a capped daily resource that does not carry over to the next day, so use all 10 gift slots every session.
Prioritize your main team first. Using a character’s favorite items gives a bigger Affection boost than generic gifts, so check each character’s preference list before spending. If you are focused on maxing out a specific character relationship, three gifts per day gets there faster than irregular gifting.
8. Bust Illegal Activities
Defeating enemies caught doing illegal activities around the city drops Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookies. These can be traded in at Security Offices for rewards including Annulith, which is one of the most important upgrade materials in the game. It takes only a few minutes to run through a couple of encounters and bank the cookies.
This task is easy to overlook because it is not flagged as a daily objective, but the Annulith income from consistent trading is worth adding to your routine. If you are working through the Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookie guide for NTE, you will know exactly where to find the best farming spots for this.
9. Check the Exploration Guide and Your Mail
Open the Exploration Guide from your in-game smartphone or by pressing F1 on PC. This menu tracks city-based objectives like discovering Points of Interest, completing activities, and reaching exploration milestones. When all objectives in a phase are complete, a red exclamation mark appears on the tab — that means unclaimed rewards are waiting. Rewards include EXP, Annulith, Elite Hunter Guides, Beetle Coins, Fons, Chaotic Dyes, and Music Boxes.
Also check your in-game mail inbox every session. Event participation rewards, compensation packages, and promotional freebies land here and expire if unclaimed. Missing a mail reward because you forgot to open the inbox is one of the most avoidable losses in the game.
Finally, check the Event tab for any limited-time objectives. These can drop Dice and Annulith that are only available during specific event windows and will disappear permanently if you miss them.

Weekly Routine Checklist — NTE
These tasks reset every Monday at 5:00 AM UTC+8. They offer the biggest rewards in the game, so weekly content should always be your first priority after the daily reset on Monday.
1. Clear Anomaly Pilgrimage (Highest Weekly Priority)
Anomaly Pilgrimage is the most important weekly activity in NTE. It rewards materials for upgrading Esper Abilities — the passive bonuses that power up your characters’ elemental kits. You can claim rewards up to 3 times per week by spending Character Pixels on the runs.
Since attempts are limited, check which Esper Ability enhancement materials your characters actually need before you commit your Pixels. Running the wrong Pilgrimage tier wastes both your weekly attempts and your daily stamina. Check the full Anomaly Zones guide to understand which Pilgrimage stages drop which materials.
2. Drain All City Stamina in Hethereau Hobbies
City Stamina resets fully every Monday. Any unspent stamina is permanently lost at reset. Every point spent in any Hethereau Hobbies minigame earns exactly 1,000 Fons per 1 City Stamina, regardless of which activity you choose. Play whatever you enjoy most.
Performing well in minigames lets you spend more stamina per session, which means the same total City Stamina gets drained in fewer sessions. If you want to finish faster, improve your scores. If you just want the Fons, play the easiest minigame at your own pace. Either approach works — what matters is that the bar reaches zero before Monday.
As you level up City Tycoon, your total City Stamina reserves increase and new Hobbies become available. Investing in City Tycoon progression directly increases your weekly Fons output from Hobbies, making it one of the best long-term investments in the game.
3. Check Ebisu’s Auction
Ebisu’s Auction refreshes its inventory every week. Some items available here cannot be obtained anywhere else in the game, making this a must-check each reset. The auction unlocks after completing Chapter 3 of the main story, so push that story milestone as early as possible to gain access.
Check the inventory each week even if you do not plan to buy anything. Exclusive items rotate in and out, and missing a limited rotation means waiting weeks for it to reappear. Keep spare Fons in reserve for unexpected auction purchases.
4. Clear the Realm of Greed
The Realm of Greed is a special Anomaly Zone accessible through the Mammon decoration inside your home. It resets weekly and rewards Fons that scale with the difficulty tier you clear. Push the highest level your team can manage for maximum payout.
After buying your apartment and setting up your home, placing the Mammon decoration gives you permanent access to this weekly run. A smart tip from the community is to borrow a higher-level Mammon from friends to increase your reward ceiling before your own Mammon is fully leveled up.
5. Complete Special Commissions from the Old Mailbox
Accept Special Commissions from the Old Mailbox in your home. These Fons-based commissions can only be claimed once per week and the payout scales with your Old Mailbox level. Before accepting any commission, level up your Old Mailbox first to lock in the highest possible reward tier for the week. Accepting at a lower level and then upgrading does not retroactively increase the payout, so always upgrade before accepting.
6. Circle Bounty Weekly EXP Cap
Circle Bounty is NTE’s battle pass system. It lets you earn rewards simply by leveling it up through normal play. The weekly EXP cap is 12,000 Circle Bounty EXP, and Daily Quests are the primary way to push toward it. If you complete your Daily Quests every day, you will naturally approach this cap without needing extra effort.
Whether or not you purchase the premium Elite Hunter Supplies tier is optional, but always work toward the weekly cap regardless. The free rewards from Circle Bounty progression are meaningful and easy to earn.
7. Participation Tasks
The Participation Tasks section inside the Exploration Guide tracks a range of actions from daily login to City Tycoon business activity. These reset and refresh weekly and drop Annulith, Beetle Coins, and Fons as rewards. Many of them complete automatically just by playing normally, so check the tab once a week to claim anything that has been marked as complete.
Monthly and Version-Based Tasks
These tasks reset on a longer cycle and should be treated as low-frequency but high-value activities.
Lost Exchange in the Mall (Monthly Reset)
The Lost Exchange shop inside the Mall resets on the 1st of every month. This is the best place in the game to trade your accumulated Lost Pieces for high-value items including Gacha Dice and Tri-Keys used to exchange for Arcs. Always buy out your priority items before the reset, or you permanently lose the month’s exchange window.
Gacha Dice directly fund your banner pulls, and Tri-Keys are essential for Arc acquisition outside of the gacha. Both of these resources should be your top purchases each month. For more on managing your pull resources and the gacha system, see the Scarborough Fair gacha system guide for NTE.
Special Routes in Beyond the Rails (Version Reset)
Beyond the Rails is the primary endgame mode in NTE. Its Special Routes offer some of the best Annulith payouts in the game, along with training materials for upgrading characters. Special Route rewards rotate every time the game updates to a new version patch, and they do not carry over once the patch ends.
Once your characters are trained up and you feel confident in your team, push as far into Special Routes as you can before the next server maintenance window. The further you go, the better the Annulith rewards. For team building help, check the best team compositions guide for NTE.

Tips for Maximizing Your NTE Routine
A few additional habits that will accelerate your overall progress on top of the checklist above.
- Prioritize Hunter Level milestones. Almost every game mode in NTE is locked behind a Hunter Level gate. Pushing your Hunter Level by spending Character Pixels, completing quests, and progressing the main story unlocks new content and new daily reward sources. The more modes you have available, the more your daily routine can earn. Check the guide on how to unlock all map areas in NTE to make sure you are not missing entire content zones.
- Get free resources with redeem codes. Anthropic regularly releases codes that can be redeemed for Annulith, Fons, Gacha Dice, and other materials. Bookmark the Neverness to Everness redeem codes page and check it regularly.
- Farm Fons from safe locations. Beyond the daily systems, there are specific safe locations in NTE for farming Fons fast. Add these to your rotation on days where you want to top up your currency quickly without spending stamina.
- Build the right characters for long-term resource efficiency. Characters like Hathor provide daily bonus Cartridges through her Life Skill, and Chiz’s Fons farming ability means keeping her available even when she is not your combat main. Knowing which characters have passive account progression value — separate from combat strength — is covered in the full NTE tier list and best characters guide.
- Do not skip the passive systems. The cafe, Nacupeda’s Pool, and the Witch’s House each take under a minute to interact with. Missing three or four of these per week is the equivalent of skipping a full day of progression. They are low effort for a reason — do them every time.
- Get your Cartridges and Modules every day. These are used to upgrade character Arcs and equipment. The guide on getting Cartridges and Modules in NTE explains the best daily sources.

A Thought
NTE rewards consistency more than it rewards grinding. A player who spends 20 minutes every day following this routine will outpace someone who plays for three hours one day and skips the next two. The daily systems — Character Pixels, Daily Quests, Nacupeda’s Pool, the cafe, gifts, and Chiz farming — are all designed to be done quickly. The weekly systems — Anomaly Pilgrimage, Hobbies, Auction, Realm of Greed, and Special Commissions — deliver the biggest rewards the game offers on a reliable schedule.
Use this guide as your session opener. Run through the checklist, clear your resets, and then spend the rest of your time exploring, story content, or working on the activities you enjoy most. The game is at its best when the routine tasks are handled efficiently and you can focus on what makes NTE actually fun.
