What Is The Witch’s House in NTE?
The Witch’s House is one of the most useful and rewarding exploration hubs in Neverness to Everness. It is a small two-storey building tucked inside a park in Bridge Crossings, home to a mysterious NPC named Blackbird. The game never pushes you here through the main story, so many players miss it — especially early on when Oracle Stones start piling up in their inventory with no obvious destination.
At The Witch’s House, you can do two things: submit your Oracle Stones for milestone rewards, and claim a free daily Divination from Blackbird. Both activities cost nothing beyond the time it takes to visit, and both provide consistent value throughout the entire game. It is one of the few locations that is worth adding to your daily loop from the moment you unlock it.

The Witch’s House Location in NTE
The Witch’s House is located in the Bridge Crossings district, which is the very first area you explore in the main story. It sits in a small, forested and fenced-in clearing on the corner of Fox Window Street and Coastal Highway, southwest of the Bridge Crossings Wertheimer Tower.
On your map, look for a purple crystal ball icon. That is The Witch’s House. It stands out clearly from all other map markers once you know what you are looking for. The building itself has a slightly eerie exterior with crow motifs and a pointed roof — it is easy to walk past if you are rushing through the area during the main story.
The fastest way to reach it is to fast travel to the Wertheimer Tower in Bridge Crossings, then head southwest. Follow the stairs down toward Fox Window Street and look for the path that leads into the small grassy area. You may need to climb or jump a blue fence to reach the clearing quickly. Once you see the house, walk inside and approach Blackbird to begin your first interaction.

What Are Oracle Stones?
Oracle Stones are collectibles scattered across all five districts of Hethereau. They work similarly to Oculi in Genshin Impact — you find them in the open world, collect them, and cash them in at a specific location for steady progression rewards.
Each Oracle Stone is carried by a red glowing raven perched somewhere in the environment. When you walk close to a raven, it glows brighter and the Oracle Stone transfers to your inventory automatically — the raven then disappears. You do not need to press any button or fight anything. Just walk up to it.
On your minimap, ravens are indicated by a blurry circular vortex icon. They often appear on rooftops, elevated ledges, alleys, and side streets. Some ravens appear near active Anomaly Commissions — you will need to clear the Anomaly first before you can interact with the raven nearby.
There are 214 Oracle Stones total in Version 1.0, spread across all five districts. Here is the breakdown by area:
- Bridge Crossings: 37 Oracle Stones
- Unheard Shores: 25 Oracle Stones
- Illusion Town: 50 Oracle Stones
- Miguel District: 45 Oracle Stones
- New Herland District: 50 Oracle Stones
You do not need all 214 to earn every reward. The maximum Divination Level is Level 10, which requires 140 Oracle Stones submitted in total. The remaining 74 contribute to map completion and overall exploration progress.

How to Use Oracle Stones at The Witch’s House
Once you have collected Oracle Stones, here is exactly how to submit them:
- Step 1: Enter The Witch’s House in Bridge Crossings. If this is your first visit, a short cutscene will introduce you to Blackbird.
- Step 2: Talk to Blackbird and select the Oracle option from the dialogue menu.
- Step 3: A submission screen will open. You can submit all your Oracle Stones at once in a single batch — there is no need to visit one stone at a time.
- Step 4: Confirm the submission to receive your milestone rewards instantly.
Because the game allows batch submission, there is no benefit to making a dedicated trip for every individual stone you pick up. The best approach is to collect a stack during your normal exploration and then visit Blackbird whenever you are already in the Bridge Crossings area.

Oracle Stone Rewards and Divination Levels
Every time you submit Oracle Stones, you progress toward the next Divination Level. Divination Levels run from Level 1 to a maximum of Level 10, which requires 140 Oracle Stones submitted in total. Each level milestone gives you a reward package from Blackbird. The types of rewards you can earn across all levels include:
- Annulith — the premium upgrade currency used for character ascension and gacha pulls
- Hunter Level EXP — advances your Hunter Level directly
- Fons — the primary in-game currency for almost all purchases
- VitalMax Energy Bars — permanently increases your maximum Stamina for dodging and wall climbing
- Anomaly Material Selection Boxes — let you choose specific upgrade materials from a curated pool
- Beetle Coins — secondary currency used in shops and exchanges
- Gacha Dice — used for pulls through the Scarborough Fair system
- Oracle Crystal — unlocked at Divination Level 3 after submitting 12 Oracle Stones
The VitalMax Energy Bar reward is especially important to pick up. It permanently increases your Stamina, which directly impacts how long you can sprint, dodge, and wall climb during both exploration and combat. Do not overlook this reward.
Submitting Oracle Stones also contributes to your overall Stamina cap increase — the more Divination Levels you reach, the higher your maximum Stamina becomes as an ongoing bonus.
Reaching Divination Level 10 also earns the Fate’s Echo trophy and achievement on PlayStation.
What Is the Oracle Crystal and How to Use It
The Oracle Crystal is the most important reward Blackbird gives you. It is unlocked at Divination Level 3, which requires submitting only 12 Oracle Stones. This makes it something you should aim for as early as possible.
Once you have the Oracle Crystal, here is how to use it:
- Open your Radial Menu (hold T on PC, or access from the right side of your Health Bar).
- Select the Oracle Crystal from the menu.
- It will reveal all Oracle Stones within a certain radius of your current position, marking them automatically on both your map and minimap.
- After you collect the revealed stones, you can use the Oracle Crystal again to reveal more in the surrounding area.
The Oracle Crystal transforms Oracle Stone hunting from a blind search into a systematic sweep. Instead of wandering hoping to spot a glowing raven, you activate the Crystal, see exactly where nearby stones are, collect them, then move to the next area and repeat. This is the most efficient way to collect Oracle Stones across all five districts.
The minimap will display uncollected Oracle Stones as blurry red raven icons when you are close enough for them to appear. On the main map, zooming in also reveals nearby Oracle Stone markers. These signals, combined with the Oracle Crystal, make it straightforward to find every stone in a district without missing any.
Daily Divinations at The Witch’s House
Separate from Oracle Stone submission, Blackbird offers a free Divination once per day. This is a completely separate interaction from submitting stones and should be used every single day. It costs nothing and resets with the daily server refresh.
There are three types of Divination available:
Bless
Bless grants a temporary combat buff to your entire party for the rest of that day. The buff is random each day and can include things like a flat 15% ATK increase or up to 20% Crit DMG increase. These buffs are noticeable during tough Anomaly Commissions, world boss fights, and exploration combat. Always claim Bless on days when you plan to do heavy combat content.
Treasure Hunt
Treasure Hunt marks the location of one undiscovered Oracle Stone on your map with a purple scrying ball symbol. Walk to that location and collect it like a normal Oracle Stone. This divination is most useful when you are close to a Divination Level milestone and just need a few more stones, or when you have been struggling to find stragglers in a large district. Use it whenever you have remaining Oracle Stones left to find and want a guaranteed pin on the map each day.
Lost Tales
Lost Tales reveals the location of a hidden side quest that does not appear on the map under normal circumstances. Head to the marked location and look for a quest interaction there. These quests are short and tied to exploration or simple objectives, and completing them rewards additional materials and resources. Lost Tales is a great way to discover content you would otherwise easily walk past.
All three Divinations refresh daily. Even on days when you have no Oracle Stones to submit, it is still worth visiting The Witch’s House just for the daily Divination. The trip takes under a minute and the free buff or map pin is always worth it.
Tips for Oracle Stone Collection
Get the Oracle Crystal First
Start collecting Oracle Stones in Bridge Crossings immediately. It only takes 12 stones to reach Divination Level 3 and unlock the Oracle Crystal. Once you have it, the rest of the collection becomes systematic and fast. This is the single most impactful thing you can do to speed up your Oracle Stone progress.
Submit in Batches, Not One at a Time
There is no reward for visiting Blackbird frequently. The submission screen accepts your entire inventory at once. Build up a good stack of stones during your normal exploration loop and then visit Blackbird when you are passing through Bridge Crossings anyway. This saves unnecessary fast travel trips.
Use Treasure Hunt Daily
Even if you are not actively hunting Oracle Stones that day, use the Treasure Hunt Divination as part of your login routine. The pinned location stays on your map so you can collect it whenever you pass through the area. Over time, these daily pins guarantee you will never miss a stone that is awkwardly placed.
Check High Places
Ravens frequently perch on rooftops, upper building ledges, and elevated platforms. If your minimap shows a vortex icon but you cannot find the raven at street level, look up and start climbing. Many of the harder-to-spot Oracle Stones in Illusion Town and New Herland District are on the tops of buildings you would not normally climb during regular play.
Clear Anomalies Near Ravens First
If a raven is near an active Anomaly Commission zone, the Anomaly needs to be cleared before the raven becomes interactive. If you try to collect a stone and nothing happens, check whether there is an anomaly indicator nearby and deal with it first.
Fold Witch’s House Visits Into Your Daily Routine
The Witch’s House works best as part of a broader daily loop. After spending your City Stamina in Hethereau Hobbies, checking your cafe, and doing your daily Anomaly Pilgrimage, a quick stop at The Witch’s House adds the Divination buff and any batch submissions you have ready. Our NTE daily and weekly routine guide will help you structure this efficiently.
Why The Witch’s House Is Worth Prioritizing
The Annulith from Oracle Stone milestones is one of the most reliable non-stamina sources of premium currency in the game. Every Divination Level you reach adds to your Annulith stockpile, which translates directly into more pulls on the gacha banner. Combined with the permanent Stamina increases from VitalMax Energy Bars and the free daily buff from Bless, The Witch’s House delivers consistent long-term value for almost no effort.
Getting to Divination Level 3 for the Oracle Crystal should be a priority in your first day or two of play. Bridge Crossings has 37 Oracle Stones — more than enough to push past Level 3 — and the area is small enough that the Oracle Crystal will help you find the rest quickly. From there, use it systematically in each district as you unlock and explore them.
