NTE: Neverness to Everness Hidden Achievements Guide – All Hidden Achievements and How to Unlock Them

Complete NTE hidden achievements guide for Neverness to Everness. Every hidden achievement listed with exact locations, step-by-step unlock instructions, and tips.

TL;DR

  • NTE has a dedicated set of hidden achievements that do not appear in your normal achievement list until triggered.
  • Most are unlocked through specific interactions, exploration actions, or unusual behaviors around Hethereau.
  • Some require visiting specific characters at specific locations — like Nanally napping on a rooftop.
  • A few involve dying on purpose — drowning in the sea or falling from a great height.
  • Several are tied to Anomaly Commissions with unique unlock conditions, like the Deep Blue Sorrow whale boss.
  • None of them are missable in version 1.0 — you can go back and get them all at any time.

Neverness to Everness rewards players who explore, experiment, and go off the beaten path. Hidden achievements are a big part of that — small secrets tucked into corners of Hethereau that most players walk right past. This guide covers every hidden achievement confirmed in NTE version 1.0, with exact locations and clear steps to unlock each one.

You can play Neverness to Everness on PC, mobile via Android, and on PlayStation.

What Are Hidden Achievements in NTE?

Hidden achievements are a separate category of unlockable accomplishments in NTE that are not shown to the player upfront. Unlike standard achievements tied to leveling, story progression, or combat milestones, hidden achievements are tied to specific one-off interactions, easter eggs, unusual actions, and secret locations scattered around Hethereau.

They do not appear in your achievement list until you trigger them — so you can easily miss them without ever knowing they existed. The NTE version 1.0 launch has a total of 388 achievements across all categories. Hidden achievements are not tiered like the standard ones — each has its own unique unlock condition and must be triggered individually.

All NTE Hidden Achievements and How to Unlock Them

Water Soluble

How to unlock: Let your character’s HP reach zero while in water.

Water Soluble Achievement NTE

The easiest way to do this is to swim out into the sea surrounding Hethereau. Keep swimming until your stamina bar is fully depleted, then continue swimming to drain your HP down to zero. Your party size does not matter — you do not need to reduce your team to one character first. Once HP hits zero in water, the achievement unlocks.

Leap of Faith

How to unlock: Get knocked out by falling from a significant height.

A reliable spot to do this is near Sterry Express in Bridge Crossings. Climb onto the roof of the building next to it and jump off toward the road below. The drop needs to be high enough to actually knock you out — a normal fall from a low roof will not count. Once your character is knocked out from the fall damage, the achievement pops.

Fate’s Calling

How to unlock: Obtain a Divination at the Witch’s House.

Visit the Witch’s House in Hethereau and perform a Divination. This is also part of your recommended daily routine — the Witch’s House gives useful buffs and can reveal hidden loot locations on the map. Check out the NTE daily and weekly routine guide to make sure you are visiting it every day. Performing any Divination unlocks this achievement on your first visit.

Can I Pet It!

How to unlock: Approach and pet a dog or cat anywhere in the city.

Can I Pet It! Achievement NTE
Can I Pet It! Achievement NTE

This is one of the easiest hidden achievements in the game. In clear weather, you can find a dog near Wertheimer Tower in Bridge Crossings. Walk up to it and interact to pet it. Cats also work if you find one nearby. The achievement unlocks as soon as the petting animation triggers. If you are having trouble finding animals, try changing the weather to clear using the Time System first.

Wind Walker

How to unlock: Change the weather using the Time System in the menu.

Open your in-game menu and access the Time System. Use it to manually switch the weather to a different setting. The moment you change it, the achievement unlocks. This is also a useful feature to know about in general — you can use the Time System to switch between day, night, rain, and clear weather for exploration and other purposes. See the full guide on how to pass time and control weather in NTE.

Stars Falling Like Rain

How to unlock: Visit Hethereau Skytower on a clear night and observe a meteor shower.

Stars Falling Like Rain Achievement
Stars Falling Like Rain Achievement

Head to Hethereau Skytower, which is located east of Miguel District near Soleil Road. Make sure it is nighttime and the weather is clear. If it is not currently night or the weather is wrong, use the Time System to set the right conditions. Once you are at the Skytower on a clear night, observe the meteor shower. The achievement triggers from the viewing.

The Sound of Music

How to unlock: Interact with the piano on the western beach of Unheard Shores.

The Sound of Music Achievement
The Sound of Music Achievement

Travel to the western beach in the Unheard Shores district and find the piano sitting on the beach. Simply interact with it. You do not need to actually play a piece — just the interaction is enough. The achievement unlocks immediately upon pressing the interact button.

Mhm…?

How to unlock: Interact with Nacupeda’s Pool and select “Coins, love ’em, grab some!”

Find Nacupeda’s Pool, located west of Davidia Avenue in Illusion Town. Interact with it and when the dialogue option appears, choose “Coins, love ’em, grab some!” — the greedy option. The achievement unlocks immediately from this selection.

Mhm!

How to unlock: Interact with Nacupeda’s Pool and select “Make a Sincere Wish.”

Same location as above — Nacupeda’s Pool in Illusion Town. This time, choose the sincere option: “Make a Sincere Wish.” This is a separate achievement from Mhm…? so you need to interact with the pool twice with different selections. You can do both in one visit. Visiting the pool daily is also recommended as it offers free rewards and exclusive items over time.

The Whisker’s Net Catches All

How to unlock: Equip the “Hethereau’s Keeper” Arc and enter the Wanted state while Officer Whisker is summoned.

This one takes a bit of setup. First, you need the Hethereau’s Keeper Arc equipped. Once it is equipped and Officer Whisker is summoned, do something to earn a Wanted level — attack an NPC, cause trouble around the city, or break the law in any way. Once the Wanted state triggers with Officer Whisker active, he will turn on you and the achievement unlocks from the confrontation.

To understand the Wanted system better, check the guide on how to lower your Wanted level in NTE.

Bountiful Dreams

How to unlock: Find and speak with Nanally, who is napping on the roof of Clement Academy.

Head to Clement Academy, which is located east of Wertheimer Tower in Illusion Town. Climb to the roof of the building and look for Nanally napping up there. Interact with her to trigger the conversation and unlock the achievement. This is a fun hidden easter egg for Nanally fans.

If you want to get the most out of Nanally in combat, check the Nanally build guide.

Speed Bows Down

How to unlock: Talk to Jiuyuan at the Regalia car shop.

Find the Regalia car shop, located north of Cape Square in the New Herland District. Visit the shop and speak with Jiuyuan there. The conversation triggers the achievement. This is another character interaction easter egg — Jiuyuan’s presence at a car dealership is a nice touch given his personality.

For combat tips around Jiuyuan, see the Jiuyuan build guide.

Dawn in Detention

How to unlock: Complete events and requests inside the Detention Facility that are not related to escaping.

Rather than immediately trying to escape from prison, spend time inside the Detention Facility engaging with its activities and requests. Participate in what happens there without rushing for the exit. Once you complete enough non-escape events and requests inside, the achievement unlocks.

If you want a full breakdown of prison life in NTE, read the guide on how to escape prison in NTE and the all Nameless Hospital endings guide.

52 Hertz

How to unlock: Complete the Deep Blue Sorrow Anomaly Commission.

This achievement is earned by finding and defeating the Sea Prisoner — the massive whale-like world boss in the New Herland District. To trigger the fight, you need to drive a 4-wheeled car in reverse into Nautili Tunnel. A motorcycle will not work. Once the Anomaly Zone portal opens, follow the path through the Anomalous Realm and defeat the Sea Prisoner boss.

The name “52 Hertz” is a reference to the famous 52 Hz whale — a real-world whale whose calls are at an unusually high frequency, making it unable to communicate with other whales. It is a melancholy easter egg hidden inside one of the game’s most cinematic encounters.

For a full step-by-step walkthrough of this boss fight, read our Deep Blue Sorrow commission guide.

What You See Is Real

How to unlock: Clear the Miguel District Anomaly Commission “This is not a painting.”

Head to the Miguel District and complete the Anomaly Commission called “This is not a painting.” Finishing the commission unlocks this achievement automatically upon completion.

Welcome!

How to unlock: Clear the Bridge Crossings Anomaly Commission “Old School Days.”

Find and complete the “Old School Days” Anomaly Commission in Bridge Crossings. The achievement unlocks on completion. This is one of several hidden achievements tied to specific Anomaly Commissions rather than general exploration.

It’s Starting to Clear Up Now!

How to unlock: Defeat the Tidal Ascension boss in the Dragon Gate Substitute commission in Bridge Crossings.

Track down and complete the Dragon Gate Substitute commission in Bridge Crossings, which requires defeating the Tidal Ascension boss. Completing the fight unlocks the achievement. For more Anomaly Commission guides, check the Anomaly Zones guide.

Tips for Hunting Hidden Achievements in NTE

  • Explore every district thoroughly. Many hidden achievements are tied to specific spots that require you to be in the right place. Unlocking all map areas first makes this much easier. See the guide to unlocking all map areas.
  • Talk to every named character you meet. Several hidden achievements like Bountiful Dreams and Speed Bows Down come from finding characters in unusual locations and speaking with them.
  • Try every interaction in the open world. Pianos on beaches, wishing pools, and witch houses all have achievements tied to them that most players skip.
  • Do not rush through Anomaly Commissions. Several hidden achievements — like 52 Hertz and What You See Is Real — are only unlockable through specific commissions with unusual trigger conditions.
  • Use the Time System freely. Wind Walker unlocks from changing weather, Stars Falling Like Rain requires clear night conditions, and Can I Pet It is easier in clear weather. Use the Time System whenever you need the right conditions. Learn more in the weather and time control guide.
  • Do not be afraid to die on purpose. Both Water Soluble and Leap of Faith require your character to be knocked out. Just make sure you are in a safe farming area before intentionally going down.
  • Raise your Hunter Level to unlock more content. Some achievements become accessible only after you progress far enough into the game. See our guide on how to increase Hunter Level fast in NTE to stay ahead.

Hidden Achievements vs. Regular Achievements in NTE

Regular achievements in NTE are tiered — Bronze, Silver, and Gold — and completing a higher tier automatically counts all lower tiers in the same series. They track progress across eight categories including Quests, Development, Combat, Social, City, Exploration, Collection, and Commissions.

Hidden achievements work differently. They are not tiered and each one requires its own individual trigger. They do not show up in your list at all until you find and activate them. Think of them as the game’s way of rewarding curious players who take their time with Hethereau rather than sprinting through the main content.

NTE version 1.0 has 388 total achievements across all categories. More are expected to be added with future updates and patches.

Final Thoughts on NTE Hidden Achievements

Hidden achievements in Neverness to Everness are some of the most enjoyable content in the game for exploration-focused players. They reward you for doing the small things — petting a dog, sitting with a sleeping character on a rooftop, playing a piano on the beach, or just making a wish at a fountain.

None of them require grinding or advanced combat. They just ask you to slow down and actually look at the city around you. Hethereau is a detailed, layered world full of little surprises, and the hidden achievements are the game’s way of nudging you toward all of them.

Work through the list at your own pace. Most of them can be knocked out in a single evening of exploration if you know where to look — and now you do.
