Pink Paws Heist is one of the best and most unique ways to earn Fons in Neverness to Everness. It is NTE’s version of a bank robbery — a timed activity where you break into a replica vault, loot everything you can find, and fight your way out before the clock runs out. This guide covers how to unlock it, how the bank is laid out, how to maximize your earnings per run, and how to beat the Mammon boss inside.

What Is Pink Paws Heist in NTE?
Pink Paws Heist is a Hethereau Hobbies mini-game that tasks you with robbing a multi-level bank within a time limit. In terms of lore, it exists as a partnership between the director of the “Vault Heist” show and Dvorak — a legal simulation of a real heist that lets players experience the thrill of robbing a bank while both the director and Dvorak profit from it.
In gameplay terms, it is one of the fastest and most rewarding sources of Fons in the entire game. Fons is the currency you need for high-end vehicles, luxury properties, and other expensive city purchases. Pink Paws Heist lets you earn up to 1 million Fons per bi-weekly period without spending any City Stamina at all — you can run it as many times as you want until you hit the cap.
For more on earning Fons efficiently across all activities, check the guide on how to get Fons fast in NTE.
How to Unlock Pink Paws Heist
Pink Paws Heist unlocks when you reach City Tycoon Level 10. This requires earning a total of 1.5 million Fons and completing the City Tycoon objectives tied to that rank.
Once you hit Tycoon Rank 10, a new quest will pop up pointing you toward the bank. Head to the Pink Paws Bank HQ in the northern part of the New Herland District. There is a Wertheimer Tower fast travel point right next to it — unlock it as soon as you arrive to make future visits faster.
Inside the bank, find the pink-haired lobby manager Chiz and speak with her. If it is your first time, she will explain the rules. Select “I’m in” to begin the heist, or use the “Exchange Shop” option to access the heist’s special shop with your earned currency.
To reach Tycoon Level 10 faster, read the City Tycoon guide and the Hethereau Hobbies guide.
Pink Paws Heist Basics
Time Limit
You have 12 minutes per run to collect as many valuables as possible across the bank’s floors. The clock starts the moment you enter. Manage your time carefully — spending too long on one floor means missing loot on deeper, more valuable floors.
No City Stamina Cost
Unlike most Hethereau Hobbies, Pink Paws Heist does not consume City Stamina. You can attempt it as many times as you want within the bi-weekly period, making repeated practice runs completely free.
Fons Cap
The maximum Fons you can earn from Pink Paws Heist is 1 million Fons per bi-weekly season. The cap resets periodically. Once you hit it, you stop earning from the heist until the next reset. Run it consistently throughout each period rather than trying to grind the whole cap in one session.
Character Balance Mode
This is important: Pink Paws Heist uses Character Balance Mode. That means all characters use fixed stats inside the heist — not the stats you have built for them. Enemies hit harder and take more damage than you might expect based on similar-level encounters outside.
The one exception is Awakenings. Any Awakenings you have unlocked for your characters remain active during the heist. If you are struggling with enemies, try swapping in characters with higher Awakening levels to get an edge. Read the Awakening system guide for details on how to unlock them.
Taking Damage and Losing Earnings
If you get hit by an enemy inside the heist, there is a chance you will drop some of your collected Fons. Avoid unnecessary fights when possible and always clear enemies around a safe before you start picking the lock — you are vulnerable during the lock-picking animation.
Pink Paws Heist Floor Layout
The bank has four floors. The layout of the map is fixed — the same every run — but the locations of valuables change randomly each time. The in-game map is also disabled inside the heist, so learning the layout by memory is important for efficient runs.
Floor 1 — Reception
This is the entrance area where you start. There are some trinkets in the balcony area above but they are generally low value. The important exits are the locked cage doors leading into the tellers’ offices on either side of the hall. Pick the lock on either side to push deeper. The reception area has the most abundant spots to check for keycards — desks, drawers, and cabinets scattered around the floor.

Floor 2 — Office Floor
This floor has heavier enemy presence and more valuable Collections spread across the offices. This is also where you can find golden-hued enemies called Empty Shells. These enemies drop highly valuable items and are worth stopping to defeat whenever you see them. You can make them respawn by using the unstuck feature, though this still uses up time.
Booths 201 through 204 are found on this floor — 201 near the start, 202 to the left, 203 to the right, and 204 further back. Explore all side rooms for additional loot before taking the elevator down.
Floor 3 — Collection Floor
This floor has more locked doors and more Safes. Safes take time to crack open but contain significantly more Fons than regular Collection items. Always clear the surrounding enemies before starting on a safe — you cannot dodge while lock-picking. Keycards can also spawn here in closets and on tables near computers.

Floor 4 — Vault Floor
This is the deepest and most valuable floor. Smaller numbered vaults are branched off to the sides and require specific keycards to open. The main vault is directly ahead from where you enter the floor, but to access it you need both a Chaotic Core and an Advanced Clearance Card I. Inside the main vault is the boss, Mammon. Only attempt this if you have enough time left on the clock and your team is in good shape.
How to Find Keycards in Pink Paws Heist
Keycards are randomized drops — there are no guaranteed spawn locations. However, certain types of spots are known to frequently contain them:
- Inside desks, drawers, and closets — the most common source.
- On tables near computers — especially in reception and office areas.
- Displayed in cabinets — check every cabinet you pass.
- Floors 1, 2, and 3 — the first floor has the most keycard search points. Floor 4 is primarily for spending them.
Important tip: Do not use a keycard the moment you find it. Keycards are saved between runs as long as you do not spend them. The best strategy is to make several looting runs to stockpile keycards, then do a dedicated vault run where you spend them all and go deep. This avoids wasting time hunting for keys on the same run you plan to use them.
How to Beat Mammon in Pink Paws Heist
Mammon is the final boss of the Pink Paws Heist, found inside the main vault on Floor 4. He is a level 50 boss — extremely powerful, very agile, and capable of wiping your team fast if you go in underprepared.
When to Attempt Mammon
Only go for Mammon if you have at least three to five minutes remaining on the clock when you reach the vault. The fight is not short. If you run out of time during the boss fight, you lose all the Fons you collected during the run. That is an enormous risk, so only commit when you are confident in your team and your time remaining.
Mammon’s Weakness and Best Team
Mammon is weak to Lakshana. Build your team around Lakshana DPS and supports for the fastest clear. A strong example team:
- Nanally — main DPS, Anima element, strong damage output. See the Nanally build guide.
- Hathor — Lakshana element, follow-up damage, triggers Remora and Charge reactions. See the Hathor build guide.
- Esper Zero — Cosmos element, enables Blossom and Charge Trio reactions with Nanally and Hathor. See the Esper Zero build guide.
- Skia or Aurelia — additional Lakshana support, triggers Stain and amplifies Lakshana damage. See Skia build guide or Aurelia build guide.
The Charge Trio reaction (Anima + Cosmos + Lakshana) is highly effective here — it restores Ultimate energy to the team, letting you spam Ultimates throughout the fight. For more on how this works, read the Esper Cycle reaction guide.
Mammon Attack Patterns
Despite his size, Mammon is fast. Here is what to watch for:
- Long attack strings — Mammon chains multiple swipes and slams together. Watch for red glints and dodge each hit.
- Fake-out floor AoE — some attack strings end with a fist slam, but do not relax after the slam. The floor below you will start to glow immediately after, signaling a ground AoE. Dodge out as soon as you see the glow.
- Parryable finishers — some of Mammon’s attack strings end with a parryable hit. A successful parry knocks Mammon off-balance and opens a major damage window.
Stay aggressive between his strings, dodge everything with a red glint, and save your Ultimates for when he is off-balance after a parry.
Pink Paws Heist — Solo vs. Multiplayer
Solo Runs
Solo runs are perfectly viable, especially if you focus on a consistent low-RNG route. A well-executed solo run can reliably earn 100,000 to 150,000 Fons per attempt without needing to find any keycards at all. Focus on the first two floors, pick every lock you can, defeat golden enemies on sight, and extract safely before the timer runs out.
For solo runs, avoid going to Floor 4 unless you have keycards and time to spare. The deeper you go, the higher the risk of losing what you have already collected.
Multiplayer Runs
Multiplayer is the fastest way to maximize Fons per session. Teams of two to four players can cover far more of the bank simultaneously. Here is how to coordinate effectively:
- Split routes immediately. Do not stick together on the same floor doing the same rooms. Assign each player a different route — one takes the Golden Elk path, another takes the Golden Spider path, and so on.
- Share enemy encounters at bottlenecks. Elevators and key doors often have guarding enemies. Fight them together to clear faster, then split again once the path is open.
- Divide and conquer for keys. If a door needs a key that has not been found yet, have one player search for the key while others keep picking locks on other doors rather than everyone standing and waiting.
- Earnings are individual. Each player receives Fons only for what they personally collected. Items picked up by one player disappear for others. Explore different rooms to avoid overlapping.
- Multiplayer speeds up gold enemy farming. Golden enemies on Floor 2 can be cleared much faster with two or more players, opening up more time for vault runs.
Challenge Objectives in Pink Paws Heist
Before starting each run, check the Challenge Objectives screen. These are bonus goals for the current heist period — tasks like defeating Mammon, collecting a certain number of specific items, or reaching a particular floor. Completing them rewards extra Fons and Annulith on top of your normal run earnings.
Some Challenge Objectives require deliberate effort and will not happen naturally if you are just looting. Review them before you start and adjust your route if a specific objective is easy to hit alongside your normal plan.
Tips to Maximize Fons in Pink Paws Heist
- Always defeat golden-hued enemies. They drop the highest-value items in the heist and take less time to kill than the Fons they give back. Never skip a golden enemy.
- Save keycards between runs. Do not waste a keycard run on a bad loot layout. Save them, do several standard looting runs, and then burn all your keycards in one big vault run.
- Clear enemies before picking safes. Lock-picking a safe takes time and you cannot dodge during it. Kill everything in the room first.
- Avoid searchlights. Getting caught by a searchlight spawns a wave of extra enemies that drain your time and risk dropping your collected Fons. Sneak around them when possible.
- Explore every room on every floor. Collections are placed on desks, in drawers, on shelves, and behind locked doors. Do not rush past rooms that look empty — interact with furniture.
- Swap in characters with higher Awakenings if enemies feel too tanky. Awakenings are the only character stat that carries over into Character Balance Mode.
- Extract with time to spare. Do not push until the very last second. If you run out of time while still inside, you lose everything you collected. Extract safely and bank your earnings.

Pink Paws Heist and Chiz — What Is the Connection?
Chiz is both the lobby manager of the Pink Paws Bank and a free S-rank playable character you unlock at City Tycoon Level 18. She is the face of the heist activity, and her being tied to this bank is a fun piece of character world-building. See the Chiz build guide once you unlock her, and learn how to get Chiz’s Arc to complete her kit.
You can also find the hidden Mammon decoration (Blind Mammon plushie) that unlocks the standalone Realm of Greed mode after completing the Yarn Ball or Fons Anomaly Commission. The Realm of Greed lets you fight Mammon outside of the heist context, and leveling the plushie increases how much Fons you earn from that mode.

Final Words on Pink Paws Heist
Pink Paws Heist is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding activities in Neverness to Everness. It is chaotic, timed, and unpredictable — but once you learn the floor layout, know where to hunt for keycards, and understand when to push for Mammon versus when to play it safe, it becomes a very satisfying and consistent Fons farm.
The 1 million Fons bi-weekly cap is generous enough that even casual players who run a few solid sessions per week can hit it without sweating. And for players who go in with a prepared team, good coordination in multiplayer, and stacked keycards ready to burn — it is genuinely one of the most fun ways to get rich in Hethereau.
