TL;DR
- Nanally is NTE’s first limited S-Rank banner character and the gold standard main DPS for patch 1.0.
- Her kit revolves around rapid follow-up attacks, her Ichi-daime’s Authority state, and the summoned Underboss that hits alongside every attack.
- Best Arc: Ready-Ready (signature) | Alternative: Fluff of Fortitude or Song of the Whale.
- Best Cartridge: Fireflies and the Forest — gives up to 56% CRIT DMG at max stacks.
- Awakening Priority: A3 > A6 > A1 > A5 > A4 > A2.
- She needs 10–15 seconds of continuous on-field time per rotation to reach her damage ceiling.
- Best team reactions: Blossom, Charged, and Hexed all fit naturally into her kit.
Who Is Nanally in Neverness to Everness?
Nanally Coluccis is a playable S-Rank Anima DPS in Neverness to Everness and a core member of the Eibon Antique Shop. She is the self-proclaimed “Ichi-daime of the Coluccis” — a title that sounds intimidating until you realize she also rescues cats stuck in trees and helps old ladies cross the street. The contrast between her tough-girl appearance and her actual personality is a big part of why she became the most popular character at launch.
In combat, Nanally is a street fighter with anti-gravity movement. She can walk on walls and ceilings during her Skill state, which gives her a real spatial advantage over enemies. Her damage comes from chaining basic attacks together with follow-up hits from her Underboss, stacking up huge burst windows during boss fights. She accounts for 60–75% of total team damage in most compositions. If you pull Nanally, your team revolves around her — and for good reason.

Nanally Skills – NTE
Nanally’s entire kit is built around keeping Ichi-daime’s Authority active for as long as possible while chaining basic attacks and follow-up hits. Every skill feeds into that loop.
Skill Priority: Passive 1 & 2 > Basic Attack = Ultimate > Skill > Support Skill
Basic Attack – Colucci Secret Skill
Nanally performs up to 5 consecutive attacks dealing Anima DMG. Dodging does not interrupt the combo — a key quality-of-life feature that lets you weave in defensive moves without losing your chain. This is your primary on-field damage source and what you will be mashing during Authority windows.
Basic Attack (Hold) – Heavy Hitter!
Hold the Basic Attack button to activate. Nanally performs up to 3 powerful Anima DMG hits. This can be chained after a Critical Riposte or after the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th hits of Colucci Secret Skill. Like the standard combo, dodging does not cancel it. High multipliers per hit, but it has a longer animation — wait for a safe window before committing to it.
Basic Attack – Colucci Secret Gundo
Enters aim mode and fires a single-target Anima DMG shot at the enemy in the crosshair. Situational but useful for sniping specific targets at range.
Basic Attack (Air) – Grand Entrance!
A mid-air claw swipe into a plunge attack that deals 1 instance of Anima DMG to an area. Damage scales with fall height, up to 200%. Great for big openers when dropping in from above.
Critical Riposte – Can’t Touch This!
Trigger by using Colucci Secret Skill after a Critical Dodge. Nanally charges the target at full speed, plants her hand on the ground, and delivers a powerful roundhouse kick that deals 1 instance of Anima DMG to an area and reduces the enemy’s Break bar. A satisfying and impactful counter when you time the dodge right.
Redirect Skill – Colucci Howling Technique
Nanally deals 5 instances of Anima DMG to surrounding enemies, wraps herself in Anima energy, and enters Ichi-daime’s Authority — her core buff state that lasts up to 12 seconds (or 15 seconds with A6). While Authority is active, she gains increased CRIT DMG and can walk on any surface, including walls and ceilings. This is what makes her both powerful and fun to play. You can recast to cancel the state early if needed, but you rarely want to.
Ultimate – Colucci Ultimate Technique
Nanally immediately deals 7 instances of Anima DMG to surrounding enemies and summons her Underboss. While Underboss is active, every one of Nanally’s attacks creates a small pull effect on nearby enemies, keeping them clustered, and the Underboss coordinates with every hit to land additional Anima follow-up attacks. Underboss damage counts as follow-up attack damage, which matters for multiple Awakening bonuses. Always use this after activating Ichi-daime’s Authority for the biggest burst window.
Support Skill – Justice From Above
Nanally charges with a spinning kick, dealing 1 instance of Anima DMG to an area. Clean, no-fuss damage that slots into the rotation naturally. Not her flashiest skill but it contributes to follow-up attack counts.
Nanally Passives – NTE
More Than Passionate (Blossom Enhancement)
When Blossom plants a Vita Bud on the field, Nanally’s version fires 10 Vita Pistils instead of the standard amount, and reduces the interval between each shot to 1 second. This passive is what makes Nanally the best Blossom carry in the game right now. She does not just participate in the Blossom reaction — she completely supercharges it. Every Vita Bud on the field turns into a rapid-fire turret that keeps hammering the enemy even while Nanally is doing other things.
Fair Duel
While Nanally is in Ichi-daime’s Authority, every time any team member deals 1 instance of Esper Cycle DMG to an enemy, Nanally fires an additional follow-up attack dealing Anima DMG equal to 60% of her ATK. This triggers up to once every 2 seconds. In practice, this means your entire team is feeding into Nanally’s follow-up damage just by playing normally. The more often the Esper Cycle triggers, the more extra hits she gets.
Nanally Awakening Guide – NTE
Awakening Priority: A3 > A6 > A1 > A5 > A4 > A2
| Awakening | Name | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| A1 | Gang Formation | Grants 2.5 Ultimate Energy per follow-up attack performed. Triggers at most once per second. Keeps her Ultimate cycling faster for more Underboss uptime. |
| A2 | Second Member | Underboss lasts 3 seconds longer. Good value but lower priority than the direct damage nodes. |
| A3 | Call Me the Boss | While in Ichi-daime’s Authority, every hit Nanally lands triggers a follow-up attack dealing Anima DMG equal to 50% ATK, once per second. Since you are almost always inside Authority when she is on-field, this fires constantly. Top priority unlock. |
| A4 | Not a Troublemaker | Underboss deals 30% increased damage. Solid but not as impactful as A3 or A6. |
| A5 | Followers Everywhere | Each follow-up attack increases Nanally’s ATK by 2%, stacking up to 20%. Resets when she leaves the field or exits combat. Snowballs nicely in longer fights. |
| A6 | Because We’re Family | Extends Ichi-daime’s Authority to 15 seconds in combat and 20 seconds out of combat. More Authority uptime means more CRIT DMG, more follow-up procs, and more Underboss coordination. Second priority unlock. |
Resonance Nodes
- Colucci Secrets – Part 1: Raises skill level of Colucci Secret Skill, Colucci Howling Technique, and Colucci Ultimate Technique by 1. Standard skill level boost — always worth unlocking.
- Colucci Secrets – Part 2: Increases Nanally’s total damage by an additional 10%. A flat, unconditional damage increase. Excellent value for a Resonance node.
Best Arc (Weapon) for Nanally – NTE
Ready-Ready – Best in Slot
This is Nanally’s signature Arc and it is the clear best-in-slot option. Base ATK of 570 and a CRIT Rate substat of 24% — the strongest raw stats of her available options. The weapon skill delivers three separate benefits.
First, it raises ATK by 15% permanently. Second, using her Redirect Skill or Ultimate each increases Basic Attack and Critical Riposte damage by 15% for 15 seconds, stacking up to twice — meaning you can hit 30% bonus damage by using both in quick succession, which her standard rotation already does naturally. Third, the unique Commander Tiger Talisman mechanic: using the Skill grants a Left Talisman, using the Ultimate grants a Right Talisman, and getting both within 15 seconds unlocks Commander Tiger Talisman — boosting damage to Bosses by 10% for 10 seconds. Your regular rotation triggers this every single time.
Fluff of Fortitude – Best Alternative (Battle Pass)
A strong S-Rank alternative if you are not going for the signature. It gives ATK% as its substat and raises the wearer’s DMG by 22% at all times, increasing to 28% against enemies below 50% HP. No rotation conditions to manage, just a constant damage boost. The downside is that the ATK% substat means you will need to compensate with CRIT Rate from your modules and cartridges. Available through the Battle Pass.
Song of the Whale – Best F2P Option
The go-to free-to-play Arc for Nanally. It gives a 12% ATK increase, adds 12% damage against Broken enemies, and restores 30% HP when a Broken enemy dies once every 30 seconds. The healing is a minor survivability bonus but the damage to Broken targets is very relevant since Nanally excels at exploiting Break windows. Available from the overworld.
Oraora! – Best A-Rank Option
A solid A-Rank Arc if you pull it during banner rolls. Its passive stacks 2% Basic Attack DMG per basic attack, up to 10 independent stacks. Nanally spends most of her time chaining basic attacks during Authority, so these stacks fill quickly. Do not purchase copies specifically — but if it drops naturally, use it.
Best Cartridge and Modules for Nanally – NTE
Fireflies and the Forest – Best Cartridge
This is Nanally’s best cartridge and it is not a close competition. The 2-piece bonus gives +10% Anima DMG, which applies to everything she does since her entire kit is Anima damage. The 4-piece bonus is where it gets special: whenever a nearby enemy takes Anima damage, Nanally gains +8% CRIT DMG for 10 seconds. This effect stacks up to 7 times for a maximum of +56% CRIT DMG at full stacks.
Three things make this perfect for Nanally. First, the effect builds even when she is off-field — if support characters deal Anima damage before you swap her in, she already has 2–3 stacks by the time she touches the field. Second, she attacks so frequently that she reaches maximum stacks within 2–3 seconds of starting her rotation. Third, each stack independently lasts 10 seconds, so once you are at max stacks, you stay there through most of a damage window. Her specialization is Type II Modules, giving her +6% CRIT Rate for each Type II module equipped.
Shadow Creed – Alternative Cartridge
A decent backup option. The 2-piece gives +10% ATK and the 4-piece gives +25% ATK for 20 seconds after using a Skill. Nanally uses her Skill often, so the uptime is good. Not the ceiling but serviceable if Fireflies and the Forest is out of reach.
Module Priority
- Main Stats: CRIT DMG, CRIT Rate, Anima DMG%, ATK%.
- Sub Stats: CRIT Rate first until you are comfortable (aim for 70–80% with buffs), then CRIT DMG, then ATK%.
- For main stat on your flex module slot, Anima DMG% is the safest choice. Once your CRIT Rate is well-covered through Cartridge bonuses and Type II Module stacking, you can switch the flex slot to CRIT DMG for more ceiling.
Best Team Comps for Nanally – NTE
Nanally is the main carry in every team she joins. You build around her, not with her. Her passives interact with Blossom, Charged, and Hexed reactions, giving her multiple strong team options. For teammates referenced here, check out individual guides for Haniel, Jiuyuan, Sakiri, and Adler.
Team 1 – Best Blossom Team (Standard Meta)
- Nanally – Main DPS
- Esper Zero – Blossom / Esper Cycle trigger
- Sakiri – Buffer / Crowd control
- Haniel – Universal ATK buffer
This is the recommended starter comp for Nanally. Esper Zero provides instant Esper Cycle procs on demand — no waiting for the meter to fill. This keeps Blossom triggering at maximum frequency, which feeds directly into Nanally’s More Than Passionate passive and Fair Duel follow-ups. Sakiri keeps enemies grouped and buffs the team through her weapon passive. Haniel layers on top with a universal ATK boost. Swap in Edgar or Mint in place of Sakiri if you need more sustain on harder content.
Team 2 – Blossom + Crowd Control
- Nanally – Main DPS
- Esper Zero – Blossom trigger
- Jiuyuan – Crowd control / Blossom support
- Haniel – ATK buffer
Jiuyuan raises the Vita Bud field cap from 3 to 6 and pulls enemies into clusters, which is especially useful for AOE content and Beyond the Rails stages. With 6 Vita Buds active and Nanally’s 10-Pistil passive, the Blossom output becomes enormous. This is one of the highest sustained Blossom DPS setups in the game when both characters are built correctly.
Team 3 – Boss Shred / Break Focus
This team is built around Nanally’s boss damage ceiling. Adler provides shields so she can play aggressively without worrying about getting interrupted, plus his Incantation DoT helps trigger Hexed in the background. Sakiri and Jiuyuan handle buffing and enemy positioning. Strong for endgame single-target boss content.
Team 4 – Charged Triple-Cycle (Endgame)
- Nanally – Main DPS
- Esper Zero – Insta-Cycle
- Jiuyuan – Blossom cap / CC
- Hathor – Lakshana / Remora / Charge
This is the peak endgame team. Replacing Haniel with Hathor completes the Cosmos + Anima + Lakshana triple, activating the Charge reaction on every rotation. Hathor’s Delay Warning adds +10% CRIT Rate on all Remora targets, which multiplies directly into Nanally’s Vita Pistil crits. Esper Zero prevents any rotation stall and Jiuyuan’s Seize the Moment stacks 6 simultaneous Vita Buds for the highest sustained Blossom output currently possible. This team is expensive to build but it represents the current damage ceiling for Nanally.
How to Play Nanally in NTE – Rotation Guide
Nanally needs 10 to 15 seconds of continuous on-field time per rotation. Unlike other characters who rotate quickly, leaving her on-field too short cuts off her Underboss window and resets her ATK stacks from A5. Plan team rotations around giving her that time.
- Step 1: Perform your support rotation first. Swap through your team to build Esper Cycle energy, apply buffs, and trigger any reaction setup. This also pre-builds Fireflies and the Forest stacks if your supports deal Anima damage.
- Step 2: Swap to Nanally and immediately cast Colucci Howling Technique (Redirect Skill). This activates Ichi-daime’s Authority, giving you CRIT DMG and wall-walk. With Ready-Ready equipped, this also grants the first stack of Basic Attack damage boost and the Left Tiger Talisman.
- Step 3: Cast Colucci Ultimate Technique (Ultimate) immediately after the Skill. This summons Underboss and gets you the Right Tiger Talisman, unlocking Commander Tiger Talisman for +10% boss damage. With Ready-Ready, this also adds the second stack of Basic Attack damage boost — you are now at +30% Basic Attack DMG.
- Step 4: Start chaining Colucci Secret Skill (Basic Attack). Mash the attack button inside Ichi-daime’s Authority. Every hit coordinates with Underboss for extra Anima follow-up damage. Weave in Heavy Hitter! (hold attack) after the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 5th hits when you have a safe window.
- Step 5: Use her Support Skill (Justice From Above) when it comes off cooldown during the Authority window to add more follow-up attack count and build A5 ATK stacks.
- Step 6: When Authority ends or Underboss disappears, rotate back to your supports, reset buffs, and repeat from Step 1.
Two things to never do with Nanally: do not swap her out the moment Authority activates, and do not cast the Ultimate before the Skill. Always Skill first to enter Authority, then Ultimate to summon Underboss. The order matters for the Ready-Ready talisman system and for making sure CRIT DMG is active when Underboss starts hitting.
Nanally Life Skills – NTE
Nanally’s Life Skills are tied to the cafe and shop management systems in NTE’s open world. Her Family Business skill set is one of the more profitable in the game for earning Fons efficiently.
| Level | Effect |
|---|---|
| Lv. 1 | Increases dish prices by 0.2 Fons for every Main Dish tag on dishes. |
| Lv. 2 | Reduces ingredient consumption rate by 1%. |
| Lv. 3 | During Owner’s Selection, hitting customers with the hammer grants 115% of the current dish price. Turns accidental hits into bonus income. |
| Lv. 4 | Reduces ingredient consumption rate by 1%. |
| Lv. 5 | Increases dish prices by 0.3 Fons for every 2 Main Dish tags on dishes. |
The more staple-tag dishes you stock, the higher her price bonuses climb. Combined with ingredient savings, Nanally is one of the most efficient cafe staff picks for generating Fons. See our cafe ownership guide and City Tycoon guide for tips on stacking these bonuses effectively.
Is Nanally Worth Pulling in NTE?
Yes, absolutely. Nanally is the gold standard carry for patch 1.0. She is the first limited S-Rank banner character in NTE and she earns that spot. Her Blossom enhancement passive transforms an already strong reaction into something extraordinary. Her follow-up attack density means she benefits from almost every team buff in the game. And her anti-gravity movement during Authority makes her one of the most satisfying characters to actually play, not just look at numbers for.
Even without her signature Arc, she performs strongly with Song of the Whale or Fluff of Fortitude. Fireflies and the Forest is accessible for most players. You do not need to go whale to get great performance out of her — though Ready-Ready does push her noticeably higher in boss content.
