Who Is Sakiri in NTE?
Sakiri is a standard S-Rank Incantation Buff character in Neverness to Everness (NTE). She is a member of the Eibon Antique Shop faction – a white-haired girl with the horn of an oni, accompanied by a one-eyed ghost named Kiroumaru. She is described as unrivaled at Eibon and as scary as she looks.
She is permanently available through the Standard Board banner and can also be obtained with a Standard Selector after progressing far enough in the game. She is the only S-Rank ATK buffer in the launch roster, which makes her an easy and powerful slot in almost any team composition.
Her Arc compatibility is Gas, and her role in combat is crowd control and team buffing. She does not need much field time, which is actually one of her greatest strengths.
You can download the game on Android via Google Play or grab it on PlayStation Store.

Sakiri Overview – What Makes Her Special?
Sakiri is a utility-focused unit who controls enemies and creates strong damage windows for the team. Her playstyle is built around gathering enemies with Kiroumaru, applying crowd control, dropping her Ultimate to pin enemies and buff allies, then swapping out to let your main DPS take over.
What sets her apart from other supports is her passive – Can I Eat This? It is the best DoT amplifier in the game right now, stacking 25% increased DoT damage per active DoT type on Scorch-affected targets, up to 100% total. In Scorch and Discord teams, this passive alone makes her mandatory.
On top of that, her Ultimate grants a significant ATK buff to every teammate except herself, and her Support Skill reduces enemy DEF by 10% after inflicting Airborne or Suppress. She buffs your team’s offense, debuffs enemy defense, and controls the battlefield all at once.
Sakiri Skills Explained – Full Skill Breakdown
Basic Attack – Kiroumaru Headbutt (Ram)
Sakiri swings Kiroumaru and performs up to 5 consecutive attacks, dealing Incantation DMG. Holding down the Basic Attack transitions into Eating Mode, where she mounts Kiroumaru for mobility, continuously pulls nearby targets into a cone, devours weak enemies, and destroys movable objects. Eating Mode is excellent for clearing weak mobs quickly and reducing pressure on the team in multi-enemy fights.
Each enemy devoured takes 180 seconds to digest, and only 1 can be digested at a time by default. Once the digestion limit is reached, Sakiri enters Full state – she can still move but can no longer pull or devour enemies.
Critical Riposte – Mischief
Triggers after a perfect dodge during Ram. Sakiri leaps high into the air and slams Kiroumaru down hard onto enemies, dealing Incantation DMG to an area and significantly reducing enemy Break. This is her strongest single hit for Break shredding outside of her Skill and Ultimate.
Skill – Devour Whole
This is Sakiri’s main crowd control tool and has two modes:
- Tap – Burp: Kiroumaru opens its mouth, pulls in nearby enemies, inflates, and knocks them down. Fast and great for quick mob gathering.
- Hold – Gravity Eater: Kiroumaru pulls enemies in and then bites the ground, levitating all nearby enemies into the air. Not effective against powerful enemies or bosses, but devastating in mob fights. Setting enemies airborne with this directly enables the A5 Awakening reset.
Use tap for fast mob control. Use hold to set up airborne combos that chain into her Ultimate for maximum CC uptime.
Ultimate – Feast of Gluttony
This is the main event. Kiroumaru spits out a large amount of Gravity Slurry from above, dealing 6 instances of Incantation DMG to a wide area. It then applies strong gravity to hit enemies, pressing them to the ground and preventing them from moving for a period. This suppression does not apply to bosses.
After casting, the Ultimate grants a strong ATK buff to all teammates except Sakiri. Always activate it just before swapping to your main DPS so they receive the full buff during their burst window.
Support Skill – Squash! and Impish Trick
Squash! triggers when Sakiri is swapped in – she slams an enlarged Kiroumaru onto the target, dealing Incantation DMG to an area.
Impish Trick is her most important passive for team buffing. After casting Feast of Gluttony, it increases all team members’ ATK (excluding Sakiri herself) by 30% of Sakiri’s Base ATK for 20 seconds. This is why her own ATK stat matters – the higher her Base ATK, the stronger the buff she passes to the whole team.
Passive – Can I Eat This? (Scorch Enhancement)
This passive makes Sakiri the best DoT support in NTE right now. While an enemy is affected by Scorch, it increases the DoT damage they take by 25% for each active DoT type, up to a maximum of 100% increased DoT damage. In a Scorch team with multiple DoT types stacked, this alone doubles all the damage over time on an enemy. She is mandatory in any Scorch or Discord composition because of this passive alone.
Support Skill Passive – Squash! DEF Reduction
Enemies afflicted with Airborne or Suppress have their DEF reduced by 10% for 20 seconds. Since her Ultimate inflicts Suppress and her held Skill inflicts Airborne, Sakiri can naturally keep this DEF reduction active at all times. Combined with her ATK buff, the net damage increase she provides to the team is enormous.
Sakiri Skill Priority
Upgrade in this order: Ultimate > Skill > Basic Attack > Support Skill.
Always upgrade the Ultimate first. Feast of Gluttony is her most important skill – it is the source of her crowd control, her team ATK buff, and the trigger for her most impactful Awakenings. The Skill comes second since Devour Whole is her main CC tool and sets up airborne combos. Basic Attack third for the Eating Mode utility. Support Skill last since it buffs passively and does not scale as dramatically with skill levels.
Best Arc for Sakiri in NTE
Good Boy’s Grand Adventure – Best in Slot
Good Boy’s Grand Adventure is Sakiri’s signature Arc and the clear best choice. It increases her Charge Efficiency by 18%, letting her cycle her Ultimate more frequently. When she casts her Ultimate, it grants the entire team 10% ATK for 20 seconds. If enemies are controlled by the Ultimate, the team gets an additional 6% ATK on top of that. Both effects share the same name and do not stack with other copies, but together with her Impish Trick passive, the total team ATK boost she provides becomes one of the highest in the game.
All standard characters can also obtain their signature Arc through the overworld later in the game, making this accessible to free-to-play players who progress through the story.
Tears Beneath the Mask – Safe Alternative
Tears Beneath the Mask is a strong alternative with a higher base ATK stat but lower ATK percentage. Its Arc Effect reduces enemy damage taken by the team, making it a useful option in tougher fights where survivability is more important than raw team damage output.
Watch Your Heads! – Lakshana DMG Option
Watch Your Heads! conditionally increases Lakshana DMG dealt to targets, and also increases Sakiri’s own ATK, which feeds into her Impish Trick buff. It is a viable alternative in teams that include a Lakshana DPS like Hathor who can take advantage of the added Lakshana damage bonus.
Best Cartridge and Modules for Sakiri
Speedy Hedgehog – Top Pick
The Speedy Hedgehog Cartridge is the best choice for Sakiri in her buffer role. The 2-piece bonus increases Charge Efficiency by 12%, stacking with her Arc’s Charge Efficiency boost so she can keep her Ultimate on cooldown more often. The 4-piece Legendary bonus increases all allies’ ATK by 15% for 20 seconds after the wearer casts their Ultimate. This effect does not stack with other copies of the same Cartridge, so avoid running two supports with Speedy Hedgehog on the same team.
Combined with Good Boy’s Grand Adventure and Impish Trick, Sakiri’s total team ATK contribution becomes exceptional. The Speedy Hedgehog set is what turns her from a good buffer into a game-changing one.
Crimson: Twin Butterflies – Selfish DPS Option
If you want to lean into Sakiri’s personal Incantation damage rather than her pure support role, Crimson: Twin Butterflies increases her own ATK and Incantation DMG output. This is a viable pick if your team already has enough ATK buffing from other sources and you want Sakiri to contribute more personal damage.
Module Stat Priority
Sakiri’s Console bonus grants 9% Incantation DMG for each Type III Module equipped. Prioritize Type III Module shapes when filling her console grid. For stat priorities on individual Modules:
- Charge Efficiency – Top priority. More Ultimate uptime means more ATK buffs for the team.
- ATK% – Second priority. Her Base ATK directly scales her Impish Trick team buff.
- Incantation DMG% – Third priority for personal damage contribution.
- DEF / HP – Low priority unless you need extra survivability.
Sakiri Awakenings – Which Ones to Pick
Sakiri’s Awakenings improve her crowd control uptime, team ATK buffs, and personal damage. Here is the full breakdown and recommended order:
- A5 – Sensory Collapse: When Devour Whole (hold version – Gravity Eater) makes a target airborne, it instantly refills Feast of Gluttony’s Ultimate Energy and resets its cooldown. This is a game-changer. It enables non-stop control chains where you use the held Skill to launch enemies, then immediately follow with Ultimate, then repeat. The fastest path to permanent CC and ATK buff uptime. Grab this first.
- A4 – Wishful Reliance: After casting Feast of Gluttony, increases all team members’ ATK (excluding Sakiri) by 30% of Sakiri’s Base ATK for 20 seconds. This transforms her into a true powerhouse buffer and directly multiplies her team’s damage output. A must-grab second.
- A1 – Diffusive Haze: Extends the immovable (Suppress) effect inflicted by Feast of Gluttony from 3 seconds to 6 seconds. Doubles the CC window your DPS has to operate safely.
- A2 – Dextrous Separation: Feast of Gluttony deals bonus damage to airborne enemies, scaling with the target’s mass, capped at 600% of ATK. Strong combo with the held Skill into Ultimate setup.
- A3 – Adhesive Grip: Increases Devour Whole and Feast of Gluttony damage by 6% for each enemy defeated by the team over the next 15 seconds, up to 60% total. Resets when out of combat. Very strong in wave clear content with many enemies.
- A6 – Gluttonous Dissolution: Allows Kiroumaru to devour and digest up to 3 enemies simultaneously in Eating Mode, with each enemy’s digestion time calculated independently. A quality-of-life upgrade for mob-heavy content.
Recommended stopping point: A5 immediately for the Ultimate reset loop. A4 second for the team ATK buff. These two together make Sakiri one of the best support characters in NTE at launch.
How to Play Sakiri – Rotation and Playstyle
Sakiri does not need much field time. Her rotation is fast and efficient – enter, control, buff, exit. Here is the standard rotation step by step:
- Enter combat with Eating Mode (hold Basic Attack) to pull enemies together and gain mobility.
- Use Devour Whole – Hold (Gravity Eater) to levitate enemies into the air.
- Immediately cast Feast of Gluttony (Ultimate) while enemies are airborne – this triggers the A5 Sensory Collapse reset, instantly refilling the Ultimate gauge and resetting its cooldown.
- The Ultimate pins enemies with Suppress and applies the full team ATK buff via Impish Trick.
- Enemy DEF drops by 10% from the Squash! passive due to Suppress being applied.
- Swap to your main DPS immediately so they receive the full ATK buff during their burst window.
- When Sakiri’s Ultimate is ready again, swap back and repeat.
Important tip: Always use the hold version of Devour Whole to launch enemies airborne before casting the Ultimate. This chains A5 Sensory Collapse to reset your Ultimate immediately, creating a back-to-back CC and buff loop. Tapping the Skill only knocks enemies down – it will not trigger the airborne condition needed for the reset.
Boss fights: The airborne Gravity Eater and Suppress from the Ultimate do not work on bosses. In boss content, simply use the tap Skill to gather any adds, drop Ultimate for the ATK buff and DEF reduction, then swap to your DPS. Let Can I Eat This? do its work passively if you are running a Scorch team.
Best Team Comps for Sakiri in NTE
Blossom Hexed Team – Best Overall Comp
This is considered one of the highest-damage teams in NTE. Nanally is the main on-field DPS dealing Anima DMG and triggering Blossom with Esper Zero. Sakiri adds the Hexed reaction (Incantation + Anima) which replicates a portion of all team damage dealt, and provides ATK buffs plus crowd control. Esper Zero enables Blossom, speeds up Esper Meter cycling, and keeps the Charge reaction flowing. The result is a team stacking Blossom, Hexed, and Charge reactions simultaneously while Sakiri’s ATK buff amplifies every hit.
Recommended: Nanally + Sakiri + Zero + Jiuyuan
Adding Jiuyuan further enhances Blossom by doubling the Vita Bud limit to 6, provides team healing through her A2 Awakening, and adds grouping via Intel Hunter. See our Jiuyuan Build Guide and Esper Zero Build Guide to set up the rest of this team.
Scorch Discord Team – DoT Powerhouse
Sakiri is mandatory in this team because of her Can I Eat This? passive. Baicang as Main DPS stacks continuous Curse DoT and triggers Scorch with Daffodil (Chaos). With multiple DoT types active under Scorch, Can I Eat This? pushes the target’s DoT damage taken up to 100% bonus – effectively doubling all damage over time in a single passive. Haniel adds Nova and provides ATK buffs that stack with Sakiri’s own team buff for massive combined output.
Recommended: Baicang + Daffodil + Sakiri + Haniel
Read our Baicang Build Guide, Daffodil Build Guide, and Haniel Build Guide to build this composition properly.
Dual Buffer Team – Two ATK Buffers
This team runs both Sakiri and Haniel as attack buffers alongside two DPS units. Both Haniel and Sakiri stack their ATK buffs together, with Haniel also procing an extra buff from triggering the Nova reaction. The combined ATK boost they provide to the two DPS characters is exceptional. This team does not run a healer or shielder, so survivability relies on Fadia’s damage redirection or the DPS characters having enough self-sustain.
Recommended: Sakiri + Haniel + DPS + DPS
Universal Burst Team – F2P Accessible
Sakiri works in almost any team as a universal ATK buffer. Even without reaction synergy, her Ultimate’s ATK buff and DEF reduction add significant damage to any main DPS. Pair her with any strong DPS, Esper Zero for Esper Meter generation, and a sustain character like Edgar for a stable, reliable team that any player can run.
Recommended: Sakiri + Any DPS + Zero + Edgar
This setup works with characters like Chiz, Mint, or Adler in the DPS or support slot depending on your roster.
Sakiri Stat Priority
For her buffer role, Charge Efficiency is the top stat – more Ultimate uptime means more ATK buffs for the team. Here is the full priority order:
- Charge Efficiency – Always top priority. More Ultimate uptime is the single biggest gain.
- ATK% – Second priority. Her Base ATK directly scales her Impish Trick team buff via the A4 Awakening.
- Incantation DMG% – Third priority for her own personal damage contribution.
- DEF / HP – Low priority unless survivability is an issue in your content.
Is Sakiri Worth Pulling in NTE?
Yes. Sakiri is the only S-Rank ATK buffer at NTE launch, and that alone makes her one of the most valuable characters in the game. Every team she joins gets a meaningful ATK buff, 10% DEF reduction on enemies, and crowd control that creates clean damage windows. She is especially invaluable in Scorch and Discord teams where her Can I Eat This? passive doubles all DoT damage passively.
She barely needs field time, which means she does not compete with your main DPS for on-field presence. Swap in, use Skill, drop Ultimate, swap out. That is her entire loop – and it is one of the most impactful loops in the game.
Since she is a standard character, she is permanently available through the gacha and via a Standard Selector as you progress. She is a very safe and high-value investment for any account.
How to Get Sakiri in NTE
Sakiri is available through the Standard Board banner permanently and can also be obtained via a Standard Selector. She released with the global launch of Neverness to Everness on April 29, 2026.

Final Verdict on Sakiri
Sakiri is the easiest S-Rank to justify pulling at NTE launch. She is the only ATK buffer in the standard roster, she works in every team, she barely needs field time, and she brings crowd control plus DEF reduction on top of her buffs. No other support at launch does as much across as many team types.
In Scorch and Discord teams, Can I Eat This? makes her irreplaceable. In Blossom and Hexed teams, her ATK buff and Incantation element for Hexed reactions make her the best third or fourth character slot available. And in any other team, she is still a reliable universal buffer that meaningfully increases your DPS output.
Equip Good Boy’s Grand Adventure and Speedy Hedgehog, prioritize A5 and A4, and drop her Ultimate right before swapping to your main DPS. Do that consistently, and Sakiri will make every team she touches hit significantly harder – whether you are running Jiuyuan in a Blossom comp or Baicang in a full Scorch setup.
