Theresa Lorca is located in the Serenity Space — the private spa and pool lounge at the Pearl Resort. It sits close to the mission start, which means she is technically the easiest target to reach. Most players can get to her in under 30 seconds if they know the right path.
The problem is the front entrance. The Serenity Space is a VIP-only area, and when Bond walks up to the reception desk, the staff will deny entry because the lounge is already at full capacity. You need a workaround.
How to Reach Theresa Lorca (Pool Inspector Challenge Route)
The standard front-desk route will get you to Lorca eventually, but it will not unlock the Pool Inspector challenge. For that, you need to skip the reception entirely and climb in from the outside. Here is the step-by-step path.
Step 1 — Take the Stairs Down
At the mission start, once you are tasked with planting the Q-Traks, head down the main stairs and continue forward toward the stone steps.
Step 2 — Turn Right at the Stone Steps
As soon as you reach the stone steps, do not continue straight. Look right. There is a grassy dirt path that most players walk straight past. Turn onto that path.
Step 3 — Climb the Ledge
Follow the grassy path to the rock wall. You will find a climbable stone ledge here. Climb up onto it.
Step 4 — Shimmy Across the Cliffside
Once on the ledge, press your back against the resort wall and move laterally. Shimmy across the narrow lip. You will slide directly above a lower pool where a couple is relaxing. Keep moving.
Step 5 — Vault Into Serenity Space
Vault over the final stone barrier onto the manicured lawn. This drops you directly into Serenity Space from the outside, bypassing the front desk entirely. The Pool Inspector challenge will unlock automatically at this point.
Step 6 — Reach Theresa Lorca
Walk to the centre of the spa lounge. You will find Theresa Lorca relaxing there. Approach her to trigger the tracking sequence and plant the Q-Trak.
Why the Front Desk Route Won’t Work for Pool Inspector
The game does give you an alternative — you can use your Q-Watch to hack the resort’s electronics, force a guest to leave, and then enter through reception. This works for completing the main objective. But it completely skips the unlock trigger for the Pool Inspector challenge.
The challenge is specifically tied to the physical cliffside climbing route. If you go through the front desk, the game registers a different path and the challenge does not count. The ledge shimmy is the only valid method.
Tips to Make This Easier
- Go immediately at mission start. Do this within the first 30 seconds before any alert is triggered. Once guards start patrolling the outer terraces, the shimmy becomes much harder since Bond cannot draw a weapon while clinging to the ledge.
- Stay calm on the ledge. There is no time pressure here in normal conditions. Move steadily and do not rush the vault.
- Vault over the grass area. Make sure you vault onto the grass, not in front of any staff. The staff must not spot you entering without a booking.
- Replay if you missed it. You can replay the mission from the checkpoint menu and select the Find Theresa Lorca checkpoint to try again without restarting the full mission.
What Happens After You Reach Lorca
Once you approach Theresa at the pool, a cutscene plays. Bond engages her in conversation. To tag her with the Q-Trak, Bond uses a creative distraction — increasing the fan speed to blow away her documents, catching her off-guard in the process.
After the cutscene ends, check the ground in front of the loungers. An Intel file on Lorca will be sitting there. Pick it up to add it to your MI6 Files collection.
