TL;DR
- The Flugelheim mission is in Chapter 2 and features Batman and Catwoman.
- There are 5 Boomboxes and 1 Red Brick — no WayneTech Caches in this mission.
- Collecting all 5 Boomboxes unlocks the Boombox Batcave Trophy.
- The Red Brick is the Artist Red Brick — it unlocks new outfit and vehicle color schemes.
- The Red Brick is found by sending Catwoman’s cat through a second hidden vent in the security room.
- All Boomboxes play music when active, making them slightly easier to hear as you explore.
- Missed something? Use the Batcomputer to replay the mission at any time.
The Flugelheim Art Gallery is one of the shorter missions in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. Batman and Catwoman break in to investigate the Joker’s Party Man, and while the level does not have any WayneTech Caches, it does have 5 Boomboxes and 1 Red Brick to find.
The good news is that all the Boomboxes are playing music, so you can sometimes hear them before you see them. The Red Brick takes a little more thought. This guide walks through every collectible location in the order you encounter them, so you can grab everything in a single run.
Flugelheim Collectibles Overview
- Boomboxes: 5 total
- Red Brick: 1 (Artist Red Brick)
- WayneTech Caches: 0
- Characters needed: Batman and Catwoman (both available from mission start)
- Chapter: Chapter 2

All 5 Boombox Locations in Flugelheim
Boombox 1 — Behind the Red Cube Display
This one is right at the very start of the mission. As soon as the intro cutscene ends and you spawn inside the Flugelheim Art Gallery, immediately turn around. Look behind the art display featuring the red cube. The first Boombox is sitting there behind it. You cannot miss it if you turn around before walking forward.
Boombox 2 — Inside the Security Card Gate

Progress into the mission until you are tasked with disabling the security gate. In this area, look for the blue paint on the wall and investigate it using Triangle (PS) or Y (Xbox). This reveals a clue that leads you to a painting at the back right of the room. Inspect the painting and rotate it to grab the security card ticket hidden behind it.
Take the ticket to the ticket reader on the left of the blue paint to open the gate. Once you pass through the gate, turn around immediately. The second Boombox is sitting against the brick wall just inside the gate on your left.
Boombox 3 — Behind the Display Cabinet

Continue further down the hallway from the security gate area. As you move along, look to the left side archways. You will see an empty display cabinet. There is a grapple point on top of it. Switch to Batman and use his Batclaw to pull the display cabinet down. This reveals the third Boombox hidden behind it.
Boombox 4 — To the Right of the First Joker Bust

Keep progressing through the mission to the hallway where the first Joker head bust is located, accessed via the security card. The bust sits behind a gate. To the right of this Joker bust you will see the fourth Boombox. Make sure you grab this one before doing anything else with the bust, since it is easy to get caught up in the puzzle and walk past it.
Boombox 5 — Next to a Painting in the Final Room

After you have collected both Joker head busts and placed them on the pressure plates to open the final gate, walk into the next room. Turn left as soon as you enter. The fifth and final Boombox is sitting next to a painting on the left side of the room. Grab it before heading to crack the vault.
Once you destroy all 5 Boomboxes, you unlock the Boombox Batcave Trophy. This trophy is a decorative item that goes on display inside your Batcave.
Artist Red Brick Location in Flugelheim

The Artist Red Brick is the trickiest collectible in this mission. It is found in the security room where you send Catwoman’s cat through the first vent — but you need to go a step further than the normal mission route takes you.
Here is the exact method, step by step:
- Progress to the Disable the Security Gate objective and head down the right hallway toward the first Joker bust.
- The gate protecting the bust has a cat vent on the right side of the room. Use Catwoman’s Call Kitty gadget to send the cat through the vent.
- As the cat, press the red security button inside. This opens the gate. But do not recall the cat yet.
- While still controlling the cat inside the security room, look for a climbable path upward above the sleeping guard’s computer console. Follow the gold stud trail leading up along the shelves and platforms.
- Keep climbing until you reach a second cat flap high up on the wall. Enter it.
- Follow the ventilation tunnel through. At the end you will emerge into a small computer room. Hop across the shelves to find another cat flap.
- Go through and you will find the Artist Red Brick on the other side. Collect it as the cat, then recall Catwoman.
The Artist Red Brick unlocks a red with blue and yellow accents color scheme that you can apply to your outfits and vehicles. It is one of the cosmetic unlocks that comes from mission Red Bricks, and it applies across all characters once collected.

No WayneTech Caches in Flugelheim
It is worth noting that the Flugelheim mission does not contain any WayneTech Caches. This makes it one of the shorter collectible lists in the game — just 5 Boomboxes and 1 Red Brick. You do not need to worry about missing any upgrade currency here.
If you are hunting WayneTech Caches across other missions, these guides cover the ones that have them:
- Red Hood Gang — all collectibles including WayneTech Caches
- Carmine Falcone — all collectibles including WayneTech Caches
Flugelheim Mission Tips
- Listen for the music. All 5 Boomboxes are playing music during the mission. If you hear something near a wall or behind an object, it is likely a Boombox. This audio cue helps you locate ones that are partially hidden.
- Do not rush the security room. The Red Brick cat flap is easy to miss because most players press the security button and immediately recall the cat. Stay as the cat and look up for the climbing path before you leave.
- Grab Boombox 4 before placing the Joker bust. Once you trigger the placement animation, the camera shifts focus and it is easy to walk right past it.
- Catwoman’s climbing ability is useful throughout this mission. Walls and ledges that Batman cannot reach are often accessible with her. Keep swapping between characters when you feel stuck.
Missed a Collectible? Replay the Mission
If you completed the Flugelheim mission but missed any Boomboxes or the Red Brick, do not worry. You can go back at any time using the Batcomputer inside the Batcave. Sit in the Batcomputer chair, open the Case Log, and select the Flugelheim mission to replay it. The Batcomputer also shows your current completion percentage per mission, so you can see at a glance exactly what is still missing.

What Comes After Flugelheim?
The Flugelheim mission is part of Chapter 2’s story arc. After you complete it, the game continues with more missions and introduces new characters to your roster. As you unlock more characters, new areas of Gotham and additional mission puzzles open up. For example, Batgirl is needed to hack district radio towers and fully reveal each area’s map icons — which is important before going on any serious collectible hunt in the open world.
If you are working through the full roster, check our complete list of all playable characters in LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight to see who you still need to unlock and when each character becomes available.
Some later missions also have suit-specific collectible puzzles that benefit from having the right outfit equipped. Our all suits guide for LEGO Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight covers every outfit in the game and how to get them.
