Pragmata: Lunum Mines (Sector 4) — 100% Collectibles Guide

TL;DR

  • Lunum Mines is Sector 4 in Pragmata and has 45 collectible locations total.
  • Five sub-areas: Mine Entrance, Crane Operation Yard, Warehouse, Main Excavation Site, and Nexus Tower.
  • Several items require the Cleansing ability — you will not have this on your first visit.
  • The LunaDigger is a recurring threat throughout the sector, not just a boss fight.
  • Nothing is permanently missable. All items can be grabbed in Unknown Signal Mode after the story.
  • Two trophies are tied directly to this sector: Courage in Desperation and Can I Borrow That?

Lunum Mines is where Pragmata starts getting serious. You are now on the surface of the moon in low gravity, fighting through cramped mine tunnels, moving containers to solve puzzles, and trying not to get swallowed by a giant burrowing robot worm.

This guide covers all 45 collectibles across the five sub-areas of Sector 4. We flag everything that needs backtracking, explain the tricky container puzzles, and include full notes on the LunaDigger boss fight at the end.

What Counts Toward 100% in Lunum Mines?

The following collectible types count toward your sector completion percentage: Safe Boxes, Pure Lunum, REMs, Mods, Storage Expanders, Cartridge Holders, and Training Data.

Escape Hatches and Mini Cabins do not count toward 100%, but you need all of them across the game to unlock the Escape Artist and Mini-Hunter Supreme trophies. Red Zones do not count directly either, but the Mods and Pure Lunum you earn from completing them do.

Here is the full breakdown for Lunum Mines:

  • Safe Boxes: 17
  • Mods: 7
  • Escape Hatches: 7
  • Pure Lunum: 4
  • REMs: 3
  • Storage Expanders: 2
  • Mini Cabins: 3
  • Training Data: 2

Important: Backtracking Requirements

One ability blocks several collectibles in this sector.

Cleansing — Unlocked later in the story. Safe Boxes 2, 3, and 13, plus Storage Expander 1, are all locked behind Cleansing barriers. You will not be able to reach them on your first visit. Mark them and return once you have the ability, or clean everything up in Unknown Signal Mode after finishing the game.

Do not waste time looking for alternate routes. If a crystal barrier is blocking your path, it requires Cleansing. Move on and come back.

Also worth noting: the Red Zone physically located in the Main Excavation Site counts its rewards toward the Nexus Tower in the completion tracker. If your Nexus Tower percentage looks short, that Red Zone is likely the reason.

Lunum Mines 01 Mine Entrance Pragmata

Lunum Mines 01 — Mine Entrance

The opening sub-area introduces the low gravity mechanic and your first encounter with the LunaDigger. Three collectibles are here, but two require backtracking.

Mod 1 — Equilibrium — In the first low gravity platforming section after coming down the elevator, use your thrusters to jump between platforms. Look to the right on the floor level and you will see some blue crystals. Use the Lim Eraser to clear them and grab the mod behind them.

Safe Box 1 — In the area where you fight the first enemies of Lunum Mines. Head to the back of the room and jump up the platforms there. The box is at the top.

Courage in Desperation Trophy — This trophy is tied to the LunaDigger encounters throughout the sector, not just the boss fight. Drop down to ground level in any LunaDigger area to lure it out. Fight it until it retreats. Stay away from the sparkles erupting from the ground as those signal an incoming strike. Do this during normal progression and the trophy will pop. Do not wait for the final boss fight — many players miss it by only engaging the worm there.

Storage Expander 1 + Safe Box 2 + Safe Box 3 (Requires Cleansing — Backtrack) — On the right side of the LunaDigger repel area, there is a path blocked by Cleansing crystals. Return here once you have that ability. The first Safe Box is at the bottom of the pit. Activate the panel down there, then climb back up to reach Storage Expander 1 and Safe Box 3.

REM 1 — Campfire — After the LunaDigger encounter you enter a building. When you exit on the other side and thrust across to the far platform, go up the broken staircase. The REM is in the gap between sections of the stairs. This one is hard to miss if you are looking while climbing.

Lunum Mines 02 — Crane Operation Yard

A more open outdoor area built around cranes, construction equipment, and a building you can enter from multiple angles. Six collectibles are here in total.

Escape Hatch 1 — In the first building you enter after the Mine Entrance area. Walk in and it is right there.

Mod 2 — Analog Aggression — In the next outdoor area the LunaDigger appears again. On the right side of the area, there is a construction elevator moving up and down. Jump onto it and ride it up. The mod is at the top.

Safe Box 4 — Hug the right side fence and follow it all the way to the end until you reach a building. Jump to the building door, clear the enemies on the first floor, then head up to the second floor. The Safe Box is there.

Mini Cabin 1 — Exit the building from the second floor and turn right immediately. Look around the corner and you will spot the Mini Cabin. Shoot it.

Safe Box 5 — Also on the second floor of the same building. From up here you can access the crane control. Use it to drop a crate outside which creates a platform that helps you reach Safe Box 5 on the exterior of the building.

Safe Box 6 — Back in the same building but entered differently this time. Look for a Holo-Wall on the opposite side of the building from where you first went in. Go through it to find this third Safe Box inside.

Mod 3 — Digital Dominance — On the left side of the Crane Operation Yard, climb up the stacked crates. They lead you up to the top of a crane. The mod is sitting at the top.

Lunum Mines 03 — Warehouse

This is the densest sub-area in the sector. Eleven collectibles are packed into this zone, including a container maze, a new enemy type, and the first Training Data of the sector.

Escape Hatch 2 — Walk into the Warehouse building and it is directly in front of you. Grab it before exploring the rest of the area.

Red Zone: Warehouse + Storage Expander 2 + Pure Lunum 1 — The Red Zone entrance is in the same room as the Escape Hatch. Clearing it rewards you with both a Storage Expander and Pure Lunum. Both count toward 100% completion. Come prepared with Red Gate Keys — check our Pragmata red keys and red zones guide if you need help finding them.

REM 2 — Bug Net — Visible through a window near the Escape Hatch. To reach it, push the containers aside and navigate through the small container maze from the front. Follow the path through the rearranged crates and pick it up at the end.

Safe Box 7 — Also inside the container maze, but you cannot reach it from the same direction as the REM. Advance into the next room and push the containers from the back side to open the correct angle. Then go back and grab the box.

Can I Borrow That? Trophy — The Defender bot appears in the Warehouse for the first time. This is a large enemy with four shields blocking its front. To earn this trophy, hack the Defender and route Diana’s hack through a Confuse node during the sequence. This steals one of its shields. The trophy unlocks as soon as you successfully pull this off.

Mod 4 — Nice Nodes — In the room where you fought the Defender. Move the crates at the top of the room to clear the path and reach the mod.

Safe Box 8 — Directly above Mod 4. After moving the crates to get the mod, look up and the Safe Box is just above that same spot.

Pure Lunum 2 — In a chest on your main path through the Warehouse. Hard to miss during normal progression.

Safe Box 9 — In the room after Pure Lunum 2. There is a movable crate in the hallway. Push it to create a platform, then climb up to the higher ledge where the box sits.

Safe Box 10 — Use the same movable crate but push it to the other side this time. Use it to reach the higher containers in the next room and the Safe Box up there.

Safe Box 11 — Inside the room with the panel-box puzzle. Solve the puzzle and the Safe Box is accessible in the same room.

Mini Cabin 2 — In the same panel-box puzzle room. Look up toward the ceiling and you will see the Mini Cabin sitting on a pipe. Shoot it from below.

Training Data 1 — Also in the same room, to the right of the zipline. Grab it before taking the zipline up. This unlocks a new Training Sim back at the Shelter.

Escape Hatch 3 — At the top of the zipline in that room.

For more on how Training Data connects to the Cabin Stamp Club and Training Sims, see our guide on Pragmata training data locations — all sectors.

Lunum Mines 04 — Main Excavation Site

A longer outdoor section with the LunaDigger back in force. Eight collectibles are spread across this area, including one that requires a tricky route from above and another that needs Cleansing.

Escape Hatch 4 — Right after the mining regulation section. You will walk directly into this one.

Mod 5 — Eagle Eye + Safe Box 12 — These two are visible through glass as you approach a wrecked building from the lunar surface. You cannot reach them from ground level. Use the containers outside to push the nearby panel boxes and create a path from above. Drop in from the top to access both the mod and the Safe Box.

REM 3 — Tent — Just before the next door leading to the following area, look for an orange fuel canister on the left side. Jump up onto it to clear the broken wall section and reach the other side. The REM is over there waiting for you.

Safe Box 13 (Requires Cleansing — Backtrack) — Before exiting this area into the next LunaDigger zone, check for a Safe Box blocked by Cleansing crystals. You cannot get this now. Return with the Cleansing ability later.

Escape Hatch 5 — You run straight into this one during normal progression.

Red Gate Key — Found in the same room as Escape Hatch 5. Pick it up for use in the Red Zone nearby.

Safe Box 14 — Outside again after the Escape Hatch. Use the wall panel to drop a container and create a platform. Jump across to the other side of the gap and the Safe Box is there.

Safe Box 15 — Down on ground level in the next LunaDigger area. Look for a cluster of blue crystals on the surface. Use the Lim Eraser to clear them. The Safe Box is behind one of those crystal patches.

Red Zone: Main Excavation Site — The Red Zone entrance is also in this LunaDigger area. Complete it for the rewards — but note that those rewards count toward the Nexus Tower in the completion tracker, not this sub-area.

Mod 6 — Synaptic Response — After the Red Zone, go up the cubes and then move across the moving platforms in the area where a missile-shooting bot is stationed. The mod is there at the end of that path.

Pure Lunum 3 — In a chest on your main path after the next enemy encounter.

Lunum Mines 05 — Nexus Tower

The final sub-area before the boss fight. It is the most vertical section in the sector. Most collectibles here require navigating gaps and floors inside the tower itself.

Pure Lunum 4 + Mod 7 — Economize — These are the rewards from the Red Zone in Area 4. Even though you collected them in the Main Excavation Site, they count toward Nexus Tower in the tracker. If you cleared that Red Zone, these should already show as done.

Training Data 2 — As soon as you enter the first building in the Nexus Tower area, look to your right next to the railing. There is a broken Cabin figurine there and Training Data 2 is sitting inside it. Grab it before going further up.

Escape Hatch 6 — In the same room as Training Data 2. Use it to return to the Shelter for upgrades before the boss.

Safe Box 16 — Inside the tower, visible across a gap on the top floor. You need to navigate to the correct side of the gap and grab it.

Mini Cabin 3 — Look up while on the top floor of the tower. The Mini Cabin is sitting on top of a wire box above one of the gaps. Shoot it from below.

Safe Box 17 — Drop down to the next floor of the tower. Look for a Holo-Wall on this level. The Safe Box is behind it.

Escape Hatch 7 — Near a chain-link fence with orange railing stairs behind it. This is the last Escape Hatch in the sector. Use it to get a final save point and Shelter visit before the LunaDigger boss fight.

Backtracking Summary — Lunum Mines

Here is a quick reference for everything that needs the Cleansing ability:

Needs Cleansing:

  • Storage Expander 1 — Mine Entrance, right side of LunaDigger area
  • Safe Box 2 — Bottom of pit, Mine Entrance
  • Safe Box 3 — After panel activation, Mine Entrance
  • Safe Box 13 — Before second LunaDigger zone, Main Excavation Site

All four of these are clustered in two locations. Once you have Cleansing, you can clean them up in two quick stops.

LunaDigger Boss Fight — End of Sector 4

The LunaDigger is the sector boss and the fight happens just before you reach IDUS’s mainframe. This is a two-phase fight.

The worm spends most of the fight underground. When it surfaces, its mouth briefly opens. That is your window. Use Diana to hack it while it is exposed, and fire Hugh’s weapons at the open mouth. The Charge Piercer and Homing Missile are particularly effective here.

Watch for sparkles in the ground — those signal where it is about to burst out. Use Hugh’s thrusters to move sideways and avoid the strike zone. Keep moving during the entire fight.

After dealing enough damage, a purple gauge fills below the health bar. When it maxes out, you can perform a Critical Shot that deals massive damage.

Phase 2 starts at 50% health. The LunaDigger now fires missiles and deploys mini-drones. Dodge the missile impact circles marked on the ground. For the drones, you can shoot them down or use Diana to hack them and turn them against the boss.

At low health, the worm grabs both Hugh and Diana. Diana needs to complete a quick hack sequence to escape. Stay focused during this — it is not a cutscene. Keep attacking the mouth until the final Critical Shot ends the fight.

Defeating the LunaDigger rewards you with Shelter License Key 4, which unlocks new upgrades back at the base.

Trophies Tied to Lunum Mines

Two trophies unlock specifically in this sector:

Courage in Desperation — Repel the LunaDigger while progressing through the Mines. Drop to ground level in any LunaDigger roaming area and fight until it retreats. Do not save this for the boss fight — it may not count there.

Can I Borrow That? — Steal a shield from a Defender bot. When hacking the Defender in the Warehouse, route Diana’s hack through the Confuse node during the matrix sequence.

Final Thoughts

Lunum Mines is the most mechanically demanding sector you have faced at this point. Low gravity changes how platforming feels. The LunaDigger forces you to stay mobile at all times. Container puzzles require patience. And the Warehouse packs more collectibles into one area than any other single sub-area in the game.

Take your time. Sweep every room before moving on. Grab the Training Data in the Warehouse and Nexus Tower — those unlock new Sims back at base. And do not forget to go back for the four Cleansing-locked items once you have that ability.
