It is entirely event-driven. There are no fixed spawn points, no static nodes on the map, and no merchant that sells it. The only way to obtain Meteorite Fragments is to respond to the Falling Meteorite dynamic event or to farm the Pals that drop them.

How the Falling Meteorite Event Works

The Falling Meteorite is a dynamic world event that triggers automatically at set intervals near your current location. Here is the full sequence:

• By default, the event fires roughly every 2.5 to 3 hours of real time.
• When it triggers, a large red text prompt flashes across the center of your screen announcing the event.
• After the prompt disappears, a falling meteorite icon appears on your HUD compass pointing in the direction of the crash site.
• Travel to the marked location. The site will be nearby — the event is designed to drop close to your current position.
• Mine the large meteorite rocks at the crash site with a pickaxe to collect Meteorite Fragments.

Important: The Falling Meteorite event shares the same HUD icon as the Supply Drop event. Because these events trigger independently and unclaimed drops leave icons on the map, it is easy to follow an old Supply Drop icon by mistake instead of heading to a fresh meteor crater. Always check that you are heading toward a new event and not a leftover Supply Drop marker.

The crash site is not a peaceful mining spot. Several factions arrive to claim the meteorite at the same time as you, including Syndicate Thugs and the special Pals described below. Prepare for a fight before heading in.

Pals That Spawn at the Meteorite Event

Xenovader (Always Spawns)

Xenovader is a Dark-type Pal that spawns in groups at every crash site. It drops Meteorite Fragments when defeated or captured. Xenogard (High-Level Areas)

• Catch a male and female Xenovader during meteorite events.
• Place them in a Breeding Farm and produce eggs.
• Hatch the eggs in an Egg Incubator.
• Feed the offspring through the Pal Disassembly Conveyor.
• Processing Xenovaders this way yields Meteorite Fragments as output.
