How to Reach Mammon in Pink Paw Heist in NTE (Open Core Vault)
TL;DR
- Mammon is the final boss of the Pink Paw Heist, found in the Core Vault on LG3 – Vault Floor.
- To open the Core Vault, you need two items: Advanced Clearance Card I and Chaotic Core.
- Get the Chaotic Core by defeating the four guards around the cube on LG2 – Collection Floor.
- Advanced Clearance Card I is a random RNG drop from desks, shelves, cabinets, and golden enemies.
- Save both items between runs — you do not need to use them the same run you find them.
- Only attempt Mammon if you have at least 3 to 5 minutes left on the clock.
- Mammon is weak to Lakshana — bring characters that can exploit that.
Pink Paw Heist is one of the best ways to earn Fons in NTE (Neverness to Everness), but reaching the final boss Mammon is something a lot of players struggle with. The Core Vault is locked behind two specific items, and if you do not plan your runs correctly, you will run out of time before you ever get close.
This guide explains exactly how to get to Mammon, how to open the Core Vault, and how to beat him once you are inside.
What Is Pink Paw Heist in NTE?
Pink Paw Heist is a Hethereau Hobbies mini-game where you rob a multi-level bank within a 12-minute time limit. It unlocks when you reach City Tycoon Level 10. Once unlocked, head to the Pink Paws Bank HQ in the New Herland District — it sits a little southeast of the Wertheimer Tower fast-travel point. Talk to the pink-haired girl named Chiz inside to start a run.
The heist does not consume City Stamina, so you can run it as many times as you want. The Fons reward is capped at 1 million Fons per bi-weekly period, so there is a clear incentive to maximize every run. On top of that, there is no cap on Paw-Paw Coins, which means you can keep farming those even after hitting the Fons limit.
The bank has four floors:
- G – Reception Hall: Entry floor, limited rewards.
- LG1 – Office Floor: Lots of lootable spots and secret boss spawns.
- LG2 – Collection Floor: The best looting floor and where the Chaotic Core is found.
- LG3 – Vault Floor: The deepest floor, where Mammon and all major vaults are located.

Where Is Mammon in Pink Paw Heist?
Mammon is found inside the Core Vault on LG3 – Vault Floor. It is the massive circular vault door straight ahead when you first enter that floor. You cannot miss it — but you cannot open it without the right items either.
This is the deepest and most valuable encounter in the entire heist. Defeating Mammon gives a massive Fons bonus on top of everything you collected during the run, plus the chance to get rare special drops like Crimson Gems and the Eternal Heart gem, which alone is worth 666,666 Fons.
How to Open the Core Vault (What You Need)
To open the Core Vault and fight Mammon, you need two items:
- Advanced Clearance Card I (orange card)
- Chaotic Core
Both must be in your inventory before you can interact with the Core Vault door. The good news is that unused items carry between runs. You do not have to find and use them in the same session. This is critical to understand — it lets you do dedicated farming runs and dedicated boss runs separately.
How to Get Chaotic Core

The Chaotic Core is the easier of the two items to get. Go to LG2 – Collection Floor and look for the large cube structure in the middle. There are four guards surrounding it. Defeat all four of them and the Chaotic Core will drop.
This encounter is consistent — it appears every run. As long as your team is strong enough to beat the guards, you can get this item reliably. After picking it up, you can either keep pushing deeper or evacuate and save it for a later dedicated Mammon run.
How to Get Advanced Clearance Card I

This is where things get tricky. The Advanced Clearance Card I is a random RNG drop. There is no guaranteed spawn point. You need to search the bank thoroughly and hope it shows up.
Known sources where it can appear:
- On top of desks and surfaces — especially in the LG1 Office Floor area.
- Inside shelves, drawers, and cabinets.
- As a random drop from golden enemies (the big golden-hued enemies scattered around the floors).
- From the golden guard that always spawns near the cube on LG2.
The drop rate is low. Some players go 20 or more runs without seeing one. Do not get frustrated — just keep farming LG1 and LG2 thoroughly each run and it will eventually appear. Once you get one, do not use it on a rushed run. Save it for a clean attempt where you have enough time to actually beat Mammon.
Keycards for smaller vaults are similarly RNG-based. They drop from the same types of spots — desks, drawers, cabinets, and tables near computers. LG1 has the most loot search points, making it the best floor for farming cards.
How to Reach Mammon: Step-by-Step
Once you have both items ready, here is the fastest route to Mammon:

- Start the run at G – Reception Hall. Skip unnecessary looting here unless something is directly in your path.
- Use Elevator #3 if available — it takes you straight to LG2 and skips most of LG1. You need a Collection Floor Pass for this. If you have it, use it to save time. If not, proceed normally through LG1.
- On LG1 – Office Floor, only fight required enemies. Skip rooms that will eat into your clock. The exception is if the Spider Boss spawns — defeat it for good loot and possible card drops. Otherwise, move quickly.
- On LG2 – Collection Floor, defeat the four guards around the cube if you still need the Chaotic Core. Otherwise, head straight to the elevator to LG3.
- Use Elevator #1 if available — it takes you directly to LG3 – Vault Floor using a Vault Pass. This is the biggest time saver in the game.
- On LG3 – Vault Floor, head straight to the large circular door at the end. Approach it and submit the Advanced Clearance Card I and Chaotic Core.
- The Core Vault opens. Head inside and fight Mammon.
- After defeating Mammon, collect the golden piles and drops. You cannot go back up from LG3, so evacuate when done.
Before committing to a Mammon attempt, ask yourself three things: Do you have both required items? Is your team strong enough? Do you have enough time? If the answer to any of these is no, evacuate and save your items for the next run.
How Much Time Do You Need?
Mammon is not a quick fight. The boss is level 50, very agile, and has a large HP pool. Give yourself at least 3 to 5 minutes remaining before entering the Core Vault if you are playing solo. In a 3 to 4 player multiplayer run, 4 minutes is usually enough.
If you run out of time during the Mammon fight, you lose all the Fons you collected during that run. That is a brutal penalty. Do not rush it — only commit when the timer gives you a real window.
Preparation Runs vs Boss Runs
The smartest way to approach Pink Paw Heist is to split your runs into two types:
- Preparation runs — focus on farming keycards, Advanced Clearance Card I, and Chaotic Core. Loot LG1 and LG2 thoroughly. Evacuate with items saved.
- Boss runs — once you have both Core Vault items, do a focused run where you skip most looting and head straight to LG3 to fight Mammon.
This two-run system prevents you from wasting your Advanced Clearance Card I on a run that is already going badly. It also means you can enter a boss run with a full timer and the best chance of success.
How to Beat Mammon in the Core Vault
Mammon is the final boss of Pink Paw Heist. It is a level 50 enemy — extremely powerful and very fast. Here is what you need to know before going in:
Mammon’s Weakness
Mammon is weak to Lakshana. Attacking with Lakshana attribute abilities lets you break down its resistance faster and deal more damage overall. Build your team around this weakness for the fastest and safest kill.
Best Team for Mammon
A strong setup uses Hathor to exploit the Lakshana weakness with follow-up damage, Jiuyuan for reliable ranged hits, and Esper Zero for Esper Cycle synergy. Fill the fourth slot with a support character focused on buffs or survivability. You can also run Nanally as main damage dealer with Hathor handling follow-up attacks. Check the Hathor build guide and Nanally build guide for the best setups going into this fight.
For broader team building around the Esper Cycle, check the NTE Esper Cycle reaction guide.
Mammon Combat Tips
- Mammon relies on long, fast attack strings. Most hits are dodgeable — watch for the red glint and react quickly.
- Some attack strings end with a parryable attack. Landing a parry knocks Mammon off-balance and opens a big damage window.
- Watch out for a specific combo: Mammon swipes multiple times, slams its fists, and then the floor glows for an AoE attack right after. Do not relax when the string looks finished — dodge the AoE.
- Mammon is very agile and can dash out of range. Use Remora via Lakshana Esper Abilities to maintain uptime even when it moves away.
- The timer does not stop during normal gameplay but does pause during Ultimate animations — use Ultimates liberally to maximize DPS.
- Defeat Mammon before time runs out or you lose all collected Fons for that run.

What Are Mammon’s Rewards?
Defeating Mammon inside the Core Vault gives you:
- A large Fons bonus on top of your run total — the golden piles in the vault room.
- Crimson Gems — rare valuable drops worth a significant amount of Fons.
- Eternal Heart Gem — the rarest drop, worth 666,666 Fons.
- Paw-Paw Coins — used at Chiz’s Exchange Shop for additional rewards.
- Challenge Objective completion bonus — extra Fons and Annulith if “Defeat Mammon” is an active challenge target.
After clearing Mammon’s vault, you cannot go back up — you can only evacuate from LG3. Make sure you pick up all drops before leaving.
Elevator Shortcuts: How to Reach Floors Faster
Two special elevators can save you huge amounts of time on a boss run:
- Elevator #1 — takes you directly from the main floor to LG3 – Vault Floor. Requires a Vault Pass.
- Elevator #3 — takes you directly to LG2 – Collection Floor. Requires a Collection Floor Pass.
These passes let you skip huge chunks of earlier floors. Save them for dedicated boss runs where time is everything. Do not waste them on preparation runs where you are still farming for cards.
Pink Paw Heist Multiplayer Tips
Playing in a 3 to 4 player group makes the heist significantly more efficient. The key is to split up and cover different routes simultaneously rather than staying together. For example, send one player toward the Spider Boss route on LG1 and another toward the Golden Elk route. This way you cover more floors without losing time backtracking.
Vaults opened during multiplayer benefit the whole team. When going for Mammon in a group, you need roughly 4 minutes remaining — much less than the 5 minutes recommended for solo. Coordinate who holds the access items before the run starts.
Note that Pink Paw Heist uses Character Balance Mode — your character stats are fixed at a set level, but your Awakenings still apply. Check the Awakening system guide to make sure your characters are properly set up before running the heist.

Final Thoughts
Reaching Mammon in the Pink Paw Heist takes patience more than anything. The Advanced Clearance Card I is the main bottleneck — the drop is random and can take many runs to appear. But once you have both items ready, the path to the Core Vault is straightforward.
Plan smart. Do preparation runs to stock up on items. When you have everything, run a clean focused attempt with plenty of time left on the clock. Go in with a Lakshana team, play carefully around Mammon’s attack patterns, and the rewards will be well worth the effort.
