Deltarune Chapter 5 introduces a brand new collectible called Pink Coins. These are the currency you need to buy the MysteryKey and unlock the secret boss behind the Pink Door. If you want to find all Pink Coins (MysteryKey) in Deltarune Chapter 5, this guide covers every single location across all three areas of the Flower Kingdom.

What Are Pink Coins in Deltarune Chapter 5?

Pink Coins are a special hidden currency exclusive to Chapter 5. You find them by solving optional puzzles, exploring hidden rooms, and hitting Pink Bells or opening Pink Chests scattered around the Flower Kingdom.

There are 19 Pink Coins in total. You only need 10 to buy the MysteryKey from the shop in the Cliffs area. But collecting all 19 is worth doing if you want to buy post-boss gear and unlock everything the chapter has to offer.

What You Need Before Collecting Pink Coins

You cannot collect any Pink Coins until you have the Petal Feather. This item unlocks 2D platforming across the Flower Kingdom. You get it after beating the Aqua Seth boss fight.

Once you have the Petal Feather, the Mysterious Structure mechanic also becomes available. You will need to activate these structures to shift terrain and enable jumping in many coin areas. Check out our guide on the Mysterious Structure and how to use it if you get stuck.

It also helps to finish the main story first. Beating it unlocks a magic door at the top of Flower Castle that lets you fast travel between all three zones. This saves a lot of time when going back for missed coins.

All Pink Coin Locations in the Garden (4 Coins)

The Garden is the first major zone and holds four Pink Coins. These are some of the more straightforward ones to collect.

Garden Coin 1

Use the magic door to reach the main Garden area. Activate the Mysterious Structure near the entrance to enable jumping. Head left from the structure, dash across the gap, and jump to hit the Pink Bell hanging there.

Garden Coin 2

Start from the Shrine where you got the Petal Feather. Activate the structure at the entrance, then jump left onto the leaf platforms. Climb to the top and jump right onto the temple roof. Continue forward, jump onto a second set of leaf platforms, and hit the bell at the end.

Garden Coin 3

This one is in the beginner area where Flowery helps you against the Floradinn. Use the water canister to reveal a path going left from the scissors section. Follow that path all the way to the top of the room and open the Pink Chest. If you are in this area early in the chapter, grab it right away. You can read more about the Floradinn blocking path if you need help getting through that section.

Garden Coin 4

Head right past the HopsChef and complete the platforming section. Dash through the Torii Gate at the end of the room and open the Pink Chest to get this coin.

All Pink Coin Locations in the Cliffs (4 Coins)

The Cliffs section has four coins spread across two climbing routes. If you have completed the story, use the First Climb and Netskie Climb fast travel points to make this easier. You can also check our full guide on how to climb vines in Chapter 5.

Cliffs Coin 1

Fast travel to the First Climb location. Head right and climb the vines. When the path goes left after going up, find the Mysterious Structure near some petals. Activate it, jump left, use Ralsei to climb back up, and jump mid-air to land on the correct ledge. The Pink Bell is waiting there.

Cliffs Coin 2

Exit the previous coin area through the petals. You will land near another set of vines. Climb up and head right, watching for falling rubble. The coin is at the far right end under a stream of falling water.

Cliffs Coin 3

From the Cliffs shop, head right to find two windmills. Activate the first windmill to get the giant flowers moving. Drop down to the vines, grab onto the bottom of a moving flower with Ralsei, and ride it past the blades into a cave. Defeat the enemies inside and collect the Pink Bell. Use the second windmill to return.

Cliffs Coin 4

Fast travel to the Netskie Climb. Climb the vines and go right at the branching point instead of left. Find the Mysterious Structure inside the cave, activate it, complete the dash section without falling, and collect the Pink Bell at the end.

All Pink Coin Locations in the Castle – East Wing (8 Coins)

The Castle holds the most coins. The East Wing alone has eight of them, and some require solving puzzles you might have already encountered during the story.

East Castle Coin 1 – Water Room

From the Garden area where you get your first Watering Can, water the path on the left. This opens a route into a flooded room. Head all the way to the top to find a Pink Chest with the first coin inside.

East Castle Coin 2 – Paper Door Room

Find the paper door in the Castle and pass through it. The Pink Coin is directly behind it in the room above. Take the middle path, then head left to open the chest.

East Castle Coin 3 – Fox Room

This one requires finding all five hidden foxes in the Flower Castle. Four foxes are in the main room. The fifth one is hidden behind paper walls disguised as decorative paws. Once you find all five, the locked door opens. Go inside and interact with the fox — it transforms into a Pink Coin. Check our full guide on all fox locations in Chapter 5 for exact positions.

East Castle Coin 4 – Mushroom Block Puzzle

This is a timed puzzle. The moment you pick up the second mushroom, a fox starts chasing you. Place it in the slot immediately or you lose the chance and have to reset. See our guide on the mushroom block puzzle in Chapter 5 if you need help with the steps.

East Castle Coin 5 – Invisible Platform Puzzle Room

In the room beside the Orange Door with the invisible platforms, interact with the table to arrange two shapes. Place the horizontal rectangle below the first red line. Position the vertical rectangle so it touches the right side and connects both screens. Activate the Power Source and go to the top right corner to collect the Pink Coin.

East Castle Coin 6 – Boxing Glove Room

In the rotating orange boxing gloves room, look at the white wall on the right. Hit the gloves to smash through it, enter the hidden room, then hit the orange glove again to get the Pink Coin.

East Castle Coin 7 – Pink Lantern

There is a screen you can pass through in the Castle. On the other side, find the Pink Lantern and break it with a boxing glove. The coin is inside.

East Castle Coin 8 – Ralsei Four Block Switch Puzzle

You will encounter a four block switch puzzle that requires Ralsei to solve correctly. Hit the switches in the right order to unlock the path to the Pink Coin. Our guide on the Ralsei four block switch puzzle has the exact sequence.

All Pink Coin Locations in the Castle – West Wing (2 Coins)

West Castle Coin 1 – Blue Room Bounce Challenge

Fast travel to Blue’s Room and head right into the room with bouncing flowers. The coin is at the very top. Aim the left stick straight down when you land on a flower for maximum height. The ground level uses the bottom flower, then middle-left, then top. The second level needs all three. The top level needs precise strikes on the bottom three, then the middle, then the top, before finishing with the rightmost flower to reach the bell. This is one of the hardest platforming sections in the chapter.

West Castle Coin 2 – Shuriken Gauntlet

Exit Blue’s Room, then re-enter through the Blue Door. Take the stairs going left and down, then activate the Mysterious Structure. You now have to navigate through a row of giant Shurikens. Keep your jumps small and controlled. Getting hit sends you back to the start, but falling on its own is recoverable. Reach the end to find the Pink Bell.

All Pink Coin Locations in the Castle – Top (2 Coins)

Top Castle Coin 1 – Left Path Bell

Reach the top of Flower Castle by climbing the big platform room. Pass Green’s shop and clear the parkour section. When the path splits, go left. Swing across the flowers and collect the Pink Bell at the end of the left route.

Top Castle Coin 2 – Windmill Drop Coin

After getting the previous coin, hit the nearby flower to land on a platform. Activate the windmill to generate airflow and fall downward. Slash flowers to clear a path while avoiding rings of fire. At the bottom, you will see the Pink Door and the 19th Pink Coin sitting right beside it. This is coin number 19 and the last one to collect.

How to Get the MysteryKey and Use It

Once you have at least 10 Pink Coins, head back to the shop in the Cliffs area. Use any fast travel door and select the Cliffs shop. Go up the steps and you will find the MysteryKey as the fourth option in the shop menu. It costs exactly 10 Pink Coins.

After buying the key, return to Green’s Shop in the Castle. Head right and jump to the top of the area. Go left into the long room with bouncy vines and cross to the windmill drop zone. Fall through, dodge the rings, and at the bottom you will see the Pink Door. Use the MysteryKey on the door to access the Chapter 5 secret boss fight.

Any Pink Coins you have left over after buying the key can be spent on powerful weapons and armor that become available after defeating the boss.

Tips for Collecting All 19 Pink Coins

  • Finish the main story first. The magic fast travel door makes backtracking much faster.
  • Always have the Petal Feather. No coins are reachable without it.
  • Do the mushroom puzzle early. It is timed and easy to miss if you rush through.
  • Find all five foxes in the Fox Room. They are easy to overlook without a guide.
  • Save the Pink Door coin for last. It is right next to where you use the key anyway.
