What Is the Video Cemetery Anomaly Commission in NTE?
Video Cemetery is one of the many Anomaly Commissions you can take on in Neverness to Everness (NTE). It is a puzzle-focused commission that takes you inside a mysterious Anomalous Realm filled with Spacetime Projectors and restless enemies.
Unlike some commissions that are pure combat, Video Cemetery mixes exploration with film-based puzzles. You need to interact with projectors at each floor, align the footage correctly, and unlock new paths through the building. It is a fun and slightly eerie side mission that fans of atmospheric content will enjoy.

Video Cemetery Full Walkthrough – Step by Step
Step 1 – Activate the Spacetime Projector in the Alley
Once you reach the alley, interact with the Spacetime Projector there. Activating it causes a door to appear leading into an Anomalous Realm. Walk through the door to enter the realm and begin the commission.

Step 2 – Enter the Anomalous Realm and Reach the First Projector
Inside the Anomalous Realm, move through the hallway ahead of you. At the end of the hallway, you will find a room with a Spacetime Projector. Interact with it and check the footage.
Align the film’s playback point with the red marker. Doing this correctly will restore a broken staircase, allowing you to climb up to the 2nd floor.
Step 3 – 2nd Floor First Projector
Head up the newly restored staircase. On the 2nd floor, move to the room where another Spacetime Projector is waiting. This time, you need to turn off the projector rather than align it. Turning it off makes a closed door disappear, opening a new path forward.
Step 4 – Find the Blue Light Clue on the 3rd Floor (Left Side)
Continue to the 3rd floor via the left-side path. In the hallway, look for a blue light. Approach it and examine the “clue” it represents. Examining the clue causes a new Spacetime Projector to appear in that area. Turn off this projector to make a previously closed door vanish so you can pass through.

Step 5 – Fight the Enemy on the 3rd Floor Left Room
Enter the room on the left side of the 3rd floor. An enemy will appear when you enter. Defeat and contain it. This is where you earn the Arc reward “Failing You, Heavy in My Heart” for your trouble.
After the fight, check the footage on the Spacetime Projector in this room. Align the playback with the red marker again. This opens both the door of the room you are in and the door of the room on the opposite side of the floor.
Step 6 – Return to the 2nd Floor Great Hall
Go back down to the 2nd floor great hall and find the Spacetime Projector there. Check its footage and align the film to the red marker. This restores a broken staircase on the right side, giving you a way up to the 3rd floor right side.
Step 7 – Find the Blue Light on the 3rd Floor Right Side
Head up the newly restored right-side staircase. The room on the right is now open. In the hallway ahead, find another blue light and examine the clue there. A Spacetime Projector appears. Check its footage and align it to the red marker. This restores a staircase that descends back to the 2nd floor on the right side.

Step 8 – Defeat Two Enemies on the 2nd Floor
Head back down to the 2nd floor via the restored staircase. Two enemies will appear at this point. Defeat both of them to clear the path.
Step 9 – Return to the 2nd Floor Great Hall Again
After the fight, go back to the 2nd floor great hall one more time and interact with the Spacetime Projector there again. Aligning the playback point with the red marker now restores the central walkway on the 3rd floor.
Step 10 – Cross the 3rd Floor Central Walkway
Move back up to the 3rd floor from the room on the right side where you fought the two enemies earlier. Follow the path across the newly restored central walkway and enter the room at the end of it. There is a Spacetime Projector in this central room.
Before checking it, look for a blue light in the central room and examine the clue there first. Then interact with the Spacetime Projector. Checking this final projector completes the commission.
Step 11 – Exit the Anomalous Realm
After the final projector interaction, move through the hallway ahead of you. This returns you to the original alley outside. The commission is now complete.

Tips for Completing Video Cemetery Faster
- Always look for the blue light first. Whenever you enter a new section of the building, scan the hallway for a blue glow before doing anything else. These clues trigger new projectors.
- Align to red, not anywhere else. The film bar has multiple positions. You need to land exactly on the red section to trigger the environment changes. Take a moment to be precise.
- Turning off versus aligning matters. Some projectors need to be turned off, others need alignment. Read the interaction prompt carefully to know which action applies.
- Come prepared for two enemy fights. There is one enemy on the 3rd floor left side and two more on the 2nd floor right side. Bring a solid team with you. Check out our best team compositions for NTE if you need help building a strong lineup.
- The great hall projector is used multiple times. Go back to the 2nd floor great hall projector twice during the commission. Each visit unlocks something new. Do not skip it.
What Are Anomaly Commissions in NTE?
Anomaly Commissions are side activities in NTE where you hunt down supernatural entities called Anomalies that are scattered across the city of Hethereau. As a certified Anomaly Hunter working with the Bureau, it is your job to track and neutralize them.
Some Anomalies are easy to stumble upon during regular exploration. Others are well hidden and require you to use the Anomagram from your World Map to find rough locations. The missions themselves range from boss fights to puzzle segments like Video Cemetery, keeping things fresh and varied.
One of the best things about Anomaly Commissions is that every standard S-Rank Arc weapon can be obtained once through them. This means you can build out strong weapon loadouts for your characters without spending premium currency. Anomalies also scale to your current level, so there is no wrong time to take them on.

Thoughts
The Video Cemetery Anomaly Commission is one of the more unique quests in NTE. It replaces straightforward combat with a thoughtful puzzle loop where every projector interaction changes the layout of the building around you. Once you understand the align to red mechanic and learn to look for blue light clues, the whole commission flows smoothly.
Take your time on each floor, do not rush past the great hall projector, and make sure you are ready for the enemy encounters before heading in. The Arc reward waiting at the end makes it well worth your time.
