Crimson Desert’s Hidden Treasure Maps are some of the trickiest collectibles in the game. The map itself shows a hand-drawn sketch of the treasure location without any text or map markers. You have to figure out where in Pywel the drawing matches. Hidden Treasure Map Piece 7 is one of the most deceptive of them all — it is likely one of the first maps you find, sitting right near the starting city of Hernand, but the treasure it points to is on the complete opposite side of the continent.
This guide tells you exactly where to find the map, where the treasure is, how to get inside the location, and what you receive for solving it. For a full overview of the game, head to our Crimson Desert guide hub.
How Treasure Maps Work in Crimson Desert
Before diving in, a quick word on how this system works. When you pick up a Hidden Treasure Map Piece, it goes into your inventory as a Key Item. Examining it shows a hand-drawn sketch of the environment surrounding the hidden treasure chest. The sketch might show a recognizable arch, a waterfall, a building interior, or some other visual landmark — but it never names the location.
Your job is to match the drawing to somewhere real on the map. Once you arrive at the right spot, the treasure is typically hidden behind an obstacle — a breakable wall, a waterfall you pass through, a bookshelf that pivots, or a floor panel you break open.
There are 12 Hidden Treasure Map Pieces in Crimson Desert total. You can find and collect them in any order. Some are easy to spot; others are tucked away in obscure corners. The loot inside each chest tends to be high-quality armor pieces that are difficult to find any other way.
Where to Find Hidden Treasure Map Piece 7
Location: Miniature model castle, south of the Church of Hernand
Hidden Treasure Map Piece 7 is one of the easier map pieces to pick up. Head to Hernand and find the Church of Hernand in the city. Just south of the church, on a slightly lower elevation right next to the surrounding wall, you will find a miniature model castle — a small decorative stone structure. The map piece is sitting inside it. Walk up and pick it up.
This is not hidden or locked behind any obstacle. The miniature castle is openly accessible. Many players walk past it without checking because it looks like background decoration rather than an interactive object.
Once you have the map, look at the sketch. You will see a distinctive stone arch with small torch holders or brackets on either side of the frame. That image looks like it could be somewhere in Hernand — but it is not. This is the core trick of Map Piece 7. The arch is in Delesyia, the far eastern region of Pywel, a long journey from where you found the clue.
Where the Treasure Is – Delesyia Castle
Location: Delesyia Castle, coastal city of Delesyia — far eastern Pywel

The arch shown on Hidden Treasure Map Piece 7 belongs to a wall inside Delesyia Castle. Delesyia is the easternmost region of the entire world map. The castle sits in the east part of the coastal city, which you can find above the letter “A” in the Delesyia label on your map.
This is a considerable journey from Hernand. Use your horse or fast travel to cover the distance efficiently. Our horse guide has tips on getting the best mount for long-distance travel, and our how to fast travel guide covers unlocking travel points along the route.
Be aware that Delesyia is a technologically advanced region with constructs and mechanical enemies. You may run into tougher enemies along the way depending on how far into the story you are. Bring healing items and keep your gear refined before making the trip. Our how to get and use Palmar Pills guide and best healing food guide will help you prep supplies.
How to Enter Delesyia Castle – You Need the Visione Helmet
Prerequisite: Visione Helmet, unlocked early in Chapter 2
When you approach Delesyia Castle, the guards at the gate will stop you from entering. They will not let you through if you are not wearing the right gear. Look at the guards and you will notice they are all wearing the Visione — a distinctive helmet used as a disguise or pass in this region.
Equip your own Visione Helmet and approach the gate again. The guards will check you and let you through without incident. Do not head to Delesyia Castle before unlocking the Visione Helmet in Chapter 2 — you will be turned away every time.
If you are using the disguise system for other parts of the game too, our how to infiltrate guarded areas guides and how to steal items guide cover related mechanics in more detail.
How to Find the Hidden Chamber – Step by Step
Once you are inside Delesyia Castle, follow these steps carefully:
Step 1 – Cross the Bridge
Walk forward through the castle entrance and cross the bridge that leads into the inner castle grounds. This is the main bridge just past the gate — you cannot miss it.

Step 2 – Turn Left After the Bridge
Immediately after crossing the bridge, turn left. Do not go straight or right. You are now walking along the interior passage on the left side of the castle grounds.

Step 3 – Check the Right Wall
Walk forward a short distance and start examining the walls on your right side. You are looking for a wall that has the same distinctive brick frame shown in the treasure map sketch — with small torch holders or brackets on either side of the frame. This matches the arch drawn on Map Piece 7.

Step 4 – Hold Up Your Lantern and Spot the Leaf Symbol
Hold your lantern up in this area to improve visibility. Look high up on the right side of this framed wall section. You will see a green leaf symbol carved into the wall near the top right. This is the visual marker indicating the hidden mechanism. The leaf is easy to miss if you are not holding the lantern and actively scanning the upper part of the wall.
Step 5 – Climb the Wall
Climb up the wall to reach the spot where the leaf symbol is located. The wall is climbable in this section — grip it and pull yourself up to the height of the leaf marking.

Step 6 – Use Resist to Hold Your Position
Once you are at the right height on the wall, equip your dagger and use Resist to lock your grip on the wall surface. This keeps Kliff holding his position so you can perform the next action without sliding off. Do not charge the Force Palm for too long at this point or you will be launched off the wall.
Step 7 – Use Force Palm on the Marked Section
While holding on with Resist, use Force Palm aimed at the wall section marked by the leaf symbol. The entire section will spin and rotate, revealing a hidden chamber behind it. Drop down into the chamber.
Step 8 – Open the Chest
Inside the hidden room is a treasure chest. Open it to collect the Frozen Heart Plate Armor. There is also other loot inside the room if you want to explore before leaving. To exit, climb back up to the spinnable section, use Resist to hold on, and Force Palm it again to rotate it back and let yourself out the way you came in.

Frozen Heart Plate Armor – Reward Stats
The Frozen Heart Plate Armor is the reward for solving Hidden Treasure Map Piece 7. It is a high-defense chest piece and a significant upgrade over most armor you will be wearing at the point in the game when you can reasonably access Delesyia.

It is part of the Frozen Heart armor set — a cold-themed plate armor collection. The chest piece alone offers strong DEF and carries Abyss Gear slots that provide Movement Speed and passive bonuses. If you are working toward the full Frozen Heart set, this is one of the most important pieces to collect.

Tips for Completing Treasure Map Piece 7
Do not search Hernand. This is the mistake most players make. The map is found in Hernand but the treasure is not there. Go straight to Delesyia.
Get the Visione Helmet before you travel. There is nothing more frustrating than making the long journey to Delesyia Castle and being turned away at the gate. Confirm you have the Visione equipped and ready before you leave.
Use your horse for the journey. The distance between Hernand and Delesyia is one of the longest you will make in the game. A good horse cuts this time significantly. Check our all legendary horses locations guide if you want to upgrade your mount before the trip.
The leaf symbol is high on the wall. Players who cannot find the hidden section often miss the leaf marker because they are scanning at eye level. Hold the lantern up and look toward the top of that framed wall section.
Do not over-charge Force Palm on the wall. A short Force Palm while gripping with Resist is all you need to spin the wall. Charging it too long throws Kliff backward off the wall. Keep the press brief and controlled.
Other Hidden Treasure Map Pieces
If you are hunting all 12 treasure maps, here is a summary of where the other notable ones lead. All of them require deciphering the sketch on the map without any in-game guidance:
Map Piece 1 is found near Bellanor Beacon south of Drakesfall Gorge and leads to a waterfall cave southeast of the Hills of No Return — defeat the Grave Walker boss to reach the chest.
Map Piece 2 is north of the D in Demeniss near Drakesfall Gorge and leads to Everfrost Cave southwest of Hernand — containing the Plate Gloves of the Shadows armor.
Map Piece 3 is northwest of the D in Demeniss in a burning house and leads to the Gate of Peace in Gorthak — push a bookshelf to find the hidden room.
Map Piece 4 is in a small hut in northern Paloon and leads to a tower above Demeniss — slide under a wooden board to find the treasure.
Map Piece 8 is east of Hernand near Rocca’s Hill in a dilapidated house and points to St. Halssius’s House of Healing — climb the outside ladder, use Force Palm on the odd floor pattern to drop into the secret room, and collect the Blackwing Leather Boots. See our how to enter Halssius’s House of Healing guide for help navigating the building.
Map Piece 11 is found north between E and M of Demeniss east of the Kingshield Mountains and leads to Bursada Castle Ruins in Tashkalp — use Force Palm at the end of the corridor to break the wall and find the Golden Greed Plate Armor. See our Golden Greed Armor locations guide for the full set.
Map Piece 12 is in a small shrine in northern Demeniss and leads to a waterfall cave — use your Pierce ability to enter through the water.
