Two-Face Mission Overview — What to Expect at Haly’s Circus
The Two-Face mission is the first mission of Chapter 3 in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. It takes heavy inspiration from Batman Forever and centers on the Flying Graysons performing at Haly’s Circus — right before Two-Face crashes the party.
You play as both Batman and Robin through this fast-paced level. There are no WayneTech Caches here, which keeps things a bit simpler. But the speed of the mission makes it easy to miss collectibles if you are not looking carefully.
Here is what you are hunting for:
- 5 Coins — Giant coins hidden throughout the two obstacle course sections
- 1 Red Brick — The Clown modifier, which unlocks a new color scheme for your costumes

All 5 Coin Locations in the Two-Face Mission
The coins appear during two obstacle course runs. We will go through them in the exact order you encounter them.
Coin 1 — After the Tightrope Walk
Right at the start of the mission, you will walk along a tightrope and dodge a swinging axe. Once that is done, look directly in front of you. The first Coin is floating in the air — hard to miss if you are looking forward as you land.
Coin 2 — The Flying Graysons Sign
After the tutorial section ends and Two-Face attacks, look up toward The Flying Graysons sign. You will see the second Coin floating between two platforms. It is attached to a balloon, so it stands out once you know where to look.
Coin 3 — Past the Yellow Ramp and Barrel Trap
Continue through the obstacle course and head up the yellow ramp. You will need to dodge falling barrels on the way. Once you get past the barrel treadmill trap and reach the other side, the third Coin is floating right ahead of you, also tethered to a balloon.
Coin 4 — Under the Flying Graysons Sign (Second Combat Area)
After you defuse the first half of the bomb, a cutscene plays. Two-Face flips his coin and makes the second obstacle course harder. Once you regain control, you will enter a second combat encounter. After fighting through it, look under the Flying Graysons sign. The fourth Coin is sitting right there in that area.
Coin 5 — After the Second Barrel Trap
The fifth and final Coin shows up at the end of the second obstacle course. Get past the second barrel treadmill trap and look ahead — the Coin is waiting for you just on the other side, in the same style as Coin 3. Grab it before continuing to the final bomb section.

Red Brick Location — Clown Modifier (High Striker Machine)
The Red Brick in the Two-Face mission is called the Clown modifier. It changes the color scheme of your costumes. Here is exactly how to get it.
When to Get It
The Red Brick puzzle appears during the first combat section, after you drop into the ring of fire. This is after defusing the first half of the bomb.
Important: Do not defeat all the enemies right away. You need to keep at least some enemies present while you trigger the puzzle, otherwise the machine may not respond correctly. If you accidentally clear everyone before activating it, restart the mission.
Step-by-Step — How to Get the Clown Red Brick
- After dropping into the ring of fire, defeat enough enemies to give yourself space to move around.
- Look toward the edge of the circular arena for a Test Your Strength / High Striker machine — the classic fairground game.
- Stand on the yellow pressure plate on the machine. This will make three targets appear around the arena.
- Switch to Robin and throw his Batarang / Birdarang to hit all three targets at the same time.
- If you hit all three within the time limit, the Red Brick drops. Walk over to collect it.

Here is what you get for finding everything in this mission:
- Coins Batcave Trophy — Awarded for collecting all 5 Coins in the Two-Face mission
- Clown Red Brick — Unlocks the Clown color scheme for Batman and partner costumes
Red Bricks in this game work differently from older LEGO titles. Instead of activating cheats, they give you new color schemes for the 101 costumes available in the game. That makes collecting them well worth the effort, especially if you care about customization.

What Happens If You Miss a Collectible?
No stress. You can go back and replay any mission from the Batcave. Once you progress to Mission 6: Shreck’s Department Store, you unlock the Batcave and restore access to the mission computer. From there, just select Two-Face and jump back in.
