If you just finished Operation Critical Extraction and ended up with a Mirae Electrical Room Key, you’re in luck. This key opens one of the more accessible locked rooms in all of MW4 DMZ. The hospital is a low-threat zone and the route to the door is straightforward once you know what floor you’re heading to. Here’s everything you need.
What Is the Mirae Electrical Room Key in MW4 DMZ?
The Mirae Electrical Room Key is a Rare rarity key in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ. It unlocks a secured electrical room deep inside the parking garage of Mirae General Hospital. Unlike many other keys that come from random loot, this one has a guaranteed source โ completing the Operation Critical Extraction story mission rewards you with this key directly, along with a Defibrillator and 25,000 DMZ Cash.
It can also turn up as random field loot from containers across Hajin if you haven’t done the mission yet, but running the story mission is by far the most reliable way to get it.

Mirae Electrical Room Location in MW4 DMZ
The Mirae Electrical Room is located inside Mirae General Hospital, in the northwest parking garage at level B2. The hospital sits in grid square F5 on the Hajin Tac-Map, southeast of Cheongun Village.
This is one of the safer key locations in the game. Mirae General Hospital carries a LOW threat rating, meaning AI hostiles are lighter here and rival Operators rarely prioritise it. That makes it an easy in-and-out stop when you have the key ready.
How to Get to the Mirae Electrical Room Door
This is where most players get confused โ the hospital is a large building and it’s easy to walk into the wrong entrance or the wrong floor. Follow these steps and you’ll find it without any backtracking.

- Land near or at Mirae General Hospital in grid F5.
- Head to the northwestern side of the building and find the parking garage entrance โ look for the blue roller-shutter door below a height bar marked 3.6m and a large P sign.
- Slide or crouch under the slightly open garage door to get inside.
- Follow the ramps downward until you reach level B2 โ the pillar labels will confirm your floor.
- Look for the purple walls with yellow-black hazard stripes and the word “Danger” above the door.
- The locked room is behind a grey double door beside a barred window and electrical box.
- Interact when the prompt reads MIRAE ELECTRICAL ROOM โ UNLOCK.
- You’ll see a 300 XP DOOR UNLOCKED message when it opens.
One thing to watch for: there’s also a Doctor’s Command Office key room inside this same hospital. If you see a prompt asking for a different key, you’ve gone off route. Return to the garage and head down to B2.
Also clear any AI hostiles on the parking levels before you stop to loot. The last thing you want is to get shot while going through containers.
What Loot Is Inside the Mirae Electrical Room?
The room is a long utility corridor packed with several loot containers. Here’s what you can expect to find:
- Tool Chests โ solid source of Electronic Sensors and crafting components
- Footlockers โ yield Encrypted Archives, Electronics, and materials
- Military Bags โ drop Armor Plates, cash, and miscellaneous gear
- Electronic Sensors โ useful crafting ingredient for the 3D Printer at your FOB
- Encrypted Archives โ high-value items worth extracting for DMZ Cash
The loot varies each match but the room consistently provides useful crafting materials. If you’re actively working on 3D Printer recipes, the Electronic Sensors found here save you a lot of time hunting elsewhere. Check our MW4 DMZ 3D Printer recipes guide to see what you can build with them.
How to Get the Mirae Electrical Room Key
There are two ways to get this key:

1. Complete Operation Critical Extraction (Guaranteed)
This is the most reliable method. Operation Critical Extraction is one of the six Story Missions in MW4 DMZ. It sends you into Mirae General Hospital to locate a wounded North Korean commander, General Kang, and push his hospital bed to a safe exfil point. Complete the mission and the Mirae Electrical Room Key is awarded as part of the reward package alongside a Defibrillator and 25,000 DMZ Cash.
2. Random Loot (Not Guaranteed)
The key can also drop from loot containers, industrial lockers, and enemy Lieutenants across Hajin. If you’re farming containers regularly, it may show up before you even attempt the story mission. Keep an eye out while looting, especially in buildings and compounds.
One useful tip: if you plan to bring the key into a deployment, place it in a secure inventory slot before matchmaking. If your squad fails to exfil, a secured key stays in your persistent stash rather than being lost in Hajin.

Is the Mirae Electrical Room Worth Using?
Yes, especially if you’ve just finished Operation Critical Extraction and the key is sitting in your inventory. The hospital is low risk, the route is quick once you know it, and the crafting materials inside are genuinely useful for FOB progression.
It’s not the highest-value key room in DMZ โ rooms like the Counting Room Vault or Roze’s Highrise Armory offer richer loot โ but for a Rare key at a low-threat POI, the Mirae Electrical Room is an efficient and safe stop on any run that takes you near that part of the map.
