LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Achievement and Trophy Guide Overview

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launched on May 22, 2026, developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Games. It is one of the biggest LEGO games in years, and its trophy list matches that ambition.

On PS5 there are 52 trophies: 1 Platinum, 3 Gold, 4 Silver, and 44 Bronze. On Xbox, there are 51 achievements — the same list but without the Platinum. You can grab the game on Steam, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation Store.

The good news right away: nothing is missable. If you skip a collectible during a story mission, you can go back and replay it through the Batcomputer in the Batcave. That alone takes a lot of stress off the whole run.

How Long Does It Take to Get All Achievements?

A straight story run through all six chapters takes roughly 15 hours. If you slow down and explore, expect 20 hours. Going for full 100% completion with every collectible, trophy, and open-world activity will take 30 to 50 hours depending on your pace.

The difficulty is around a 5 out of 10. Nothing requires insane skill. Most of the grind is just time — hunting collectibles, stopping crimes, completing Puzzle Rooms, and filling out the Batcave.

Best Strategy to Get the Platinum Trophy Fast

The smartest approach is simple: play the story first without rushing, then clean up the open world after.

During the story, do not sprint from mission to mission. Explore each area a little. You will naturally pick up chapter trophies, character unlock achievements, district visit trophies, and early combat and stealth milestones just by playing. This saves a ton of cleanup later.

After the story ends, Gotham’s open world is your to-do list. Break it into three groups:

    • Activities and events: side activities, crimes, AR Trial medals, and Puzzle Rooms.
    • Collection tasks: Red Bricks, WayneTech Caches, Batcave Trophies, suits, vehicles, and upgrades.
    • Miscellaneous: combat trophies, stealth takedowns, stud goals, Photo Mode, map pins, and Batcave decoration.

A few quick tips before you start:

    • Upgrade Stud multipliers early. This prevents a painful stud grind at the end.
    • Look for Stud Caches while scanning in free roam. With all stud upgrades active, each one gives you around 25,000 studs.
    • You only need gold medals on 5 AR Trials. The rest can be completed at bronze.
    • Hack all Towers with Batgirl to unlock map targets. This reveals all collectible locations in the open world automatically.
    • For combat trophies like 100 counters and 100 stealth takedowns, mix up your playstyle throughout the campaign. They will come on their own.

All Platinum and Gold Trophies / Achievements

    Platinum Trophy

“I am Batman.” – Collect all other trophies. This one pops automatically once you have all 51 remaining trophies on PS5.

    Gold Trophies

“A hero can be anyone.” – Complete Story Mode. Finish all six chapters and the credits roll. Cannot be missed if you play the game.

“Hopefully, because he’s busy.” – Complete every side activity in Gotham. There are three side activity storylines in free roam: The Falcone Fortune, Case of Waylon Jones, and the Puzzle Rooms. Only one or two appear on the map at a time. When you finish one, the next part appears somewhere else. Work through all of them to unlock this.

A Watchful Collector – Collect all collectibles. This covers everything: coins, Bat-Symbols, WayneTech Caches, Batcave Trophies, and any items tied to missions. Some Red Bricks need to be purchased from the store, so keep your stud count healthy.

Need help with specific area collectibles? See our guides for Flugelheim, Kite Man, Carmine Falcone, and Red Hood Gang all collectibles.

    All Silver Trophies / Achievements

“I’m not wearing hockey pads.” – Unlock all suits. Suits are earned through story progression and by completing open-world content. No suit is locked behind paid DLC. Check our full All Suits in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight guide for help.

“Wanna know how I got these cars?” – Unlock all vehicles. Vehicles are purchased from the Batcave using Studs and unlocked through missions. See our All Vehicles in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight guide for the full list.

“This is too much power for one person.” – Collect all Red Bricks. Red Bricks are hidden throughout missions and the open world. Some must be purchased from the shop after finding them. Our Penguin Rubber Duck Red Brick locations guide and Mimes Cat Head Red Brick locations guide will help you track them all down. For a broader breakdown, also check the full Red Brick guide on GamingProMax.

“I own the night.” – Fully upgrade Batman’s gadgets. Use WayneTech Caches at workbenches in the Batcave to purchase gadget upgrades. Focus on Batman’s gadgets first since there is a separate trophy for purchasing any three upgrades, which feeds into this one.

All Bronze Trophies – Story Chapters

These unlock in order as you finish each chapter. None of them are missable.

    • Beware the Gray Ghost! – Complete Bruce’s Gray Ghost costume in the Prologue.
    • “A legend, Mr. Wayne.” – Complete the Prologue. The Prologue ends with the Infiltration mission.
    • One Bad Day – Complete Chapter 1. Unlocks after finishing The Red Hood Gang mission.
    • “Do I look like I’m joking?” – Complete Chapter 2. Unlocks after the Joker mission.
    • “Nothing worth having comes easy.” – Complete Chapter 3.
    • “I’m whatever Gotham needs me to be.” – Complete Chapter 4.
    • “You are not just a symbol.” – Complete Chapter 5.
    • “The night is darkest just before the dawn.” – Complete Chapter 6.

Want to replay any of these? Learn how to replay missions in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight using the Batcomputer.

All Bronze Trophies – Character Unlocks

    • A Friend – Unlock Jim Gordon. Complete “New Beginnings,” the first mission in Chapter 1. Check out the New Beginnings surfboard locations guide for help with collectibles.
    • “Hear me roar.” – Unlock Catwoman. She joins after the Mimes mission in Chapter 2.
    • The Boy Wonder – Unlock Robin. He joins after completing Two-Face, the first mission in Chapter 3.

All Bronze Trophies – Gotham Exploration

    • “This is my city.” – Place a pin on the Map. After New Beginnings, the open world opens up. Open the map with the Options button and press X/A anywhere on it.
    • “It’s not exactly a normal world.” – Visit every district. There are 9 districts in Gotham. They all become accessible during and after Chapter 3.
    • “It’s a big city. I can’t be everywhere.” – Unlock all fast travel points. Explore each district and activate the fast travel markers.
    • “Wouldn’t wanna make things too easy.” – Get 5 gold medals in AR Trials. Both combat and racing AR Trials count. Look for them on the map across all nine districts.
    • “Gotham can feel a little safer.” – Prevent 30 crimes. Listen for police dispatch announcements in free roam. They tag crimes on your map. Just respond and stop them. Repeat 30 times.
    • “Things have improved.” – Prevent each type of crime in Gotham once. Drive through all districts and handle at least one of each crime category.
    • Cowardly and Superstitious Lot – Defeat every type of enemy once. Different enemy types appear in different districts and mission types. You will likely get this naturally.
    • “Is that like parachuting?” – Glide in 10 different wind tunnels. Wind tunnels are scattered around Gotham. Use the glider to ride them. See our How to Unlock the Glider guide if you haven’t got it yet.

All Bronze Trophies – Batcave and Upgrades

    • Computer Privileges – Change the screensaver on the Batcomputer. In the Batcave from Chapter 2 onwards, walk up to the Bat Computer and interact with it.
    • Not Just A Cave – Place 5 props or Trophies in the Batcave. Use the customization plates in the Batcave and decorate with any 5 items.
    • “I own the place.” – Purchase all Batcave expansions. There are 5 diggers around the Batcave. Use Studs to buy all five expansions.
    • Rebuilding Gotham – Cash in a challenge in the Batcave. Head to the Challenge Station in the back-right of the Batcave and claim your rewards.
    • Up for the Challenge – Complete 20 challenges. Check the Challenge Board in the Batcave. Most challenges complete naturally through normal play.
    • Theatricality and Deception. – Purchase 3 Gadget Upgrades. Use WayneTech Caches at the workbench in the Batcave.
    • “No, Sir. The OTHER car.” – Purchase 3 vehicles from the Batcave. Head to the vehicle area near the Batcave entrance. You will have options available from Chapter 2 onwards.
    • “You either buy a hero…” – Purchase 5 items from Shops. The Bat-Mite Store opens at the start of Chapter 2. Buy any 5 items — suits, trophies, or props all count.
    • “Lighter, faster, more agile.” – Unlock one Skill Upgrade from each category. You earn Skill Bricks by completing main missions. Use one in Combat and one in Exploration.

Need help finding everything in the Batcave? Our full LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Batcave Guide covers it all. Also check the Iceberg Lounge Vault Code guide for a key unlock.

All Bronze Trophies – Combat and Stealth

    • The Strength To Fight – Reach a Combat Combo of 99 hits. Use Batarangs to stun enemies, then spam the attack button. With multiple enemies in a group, this builds up fast.
    • “I am the shadows.” – Perform 100 Stealth Takedowns. Sneak behind enemies and press R1/RB to silently take them down. This stacks across missions and replays. You will likely get it naturally.
    • Caped Defender – Perform 100 successful Counters. Press Triangle/Y when the counter prompt appears in combat. Just keep playing and this will come on its own.

All Bronze Trophies – Studs and Economy

    • Never Do It For Free – Collect 30,000 Studs in a single Stud combo. Use an x3 multiplier and grab a Purple Stud. You can also stack multiple Batcave challenges at once to hit this quickly.
    • “I’m good with calculation.” – Maintain the Max Stud Combo (x3) for 60 seconds. Keep collecting studs steadily so the multiplier does not drop.
    • “Life’s been good to me.” – Collect 1,000,000 Studs in total. This does not need to be all at once. Destroy objects, complete challenges, collect from the environment, and use Stud Caches. You will hit this naturally well before 100%.

Struggling with studs? Check our infinite studs farming guide to speed things up.

    All Bronze Trophies – Miscellaneous

    • Collecting Evidence – Roll the camera over 20 degrees in Photo Mode. Open Photo Mode from the Options menu and roll the camera using the triggers.
    • “Does it come in black?” – Equip a Red Brick. Open your character menu, go to Outfits with Square/X, then select Red Bricks with Triangle/Y. Equip any one.

For Red Brick help, read our dedicated guides: Penguin Rubber Duck Red Bricks and Mimes Cat Head Red Bricks.

Tips for Specific Puzzle Room Trophies

Puzzle Rooms are one of the bigger time sinks in the game. There are hundreds of them across Gotham. Here is what to keep in mind:

    • Always use your scan ability. It highlights relevant items in gold and tells you which character you need.
    • The solution is always nearby. You do not need to go far.
    • You do not need any gadget upgrades to solve puzzles. You do need all characters unlocked, which means finishing the story first.
    • Follow wires carefully. It is slow, but it saves you from backtracking.
    • If you are stuck, come back later. Sometimes a fresh look helps more than you expect.
    • If a puzzle seems completed but does not register, interact with the same switch again. Some puzzles require triggering the same lever more than once.
    • If the game bugs out, close and reload. This fixes most stuck puzzle states.

Also check the Infiltration Bonsai Tree locations guide for one of the trickier Prologue collectible puzzles.

    Can You Miss Any Achievements?

No. There are no missable trophies or achievements in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. TT Games built full mission replay into the game from the start. If you skip something during a story chapter, just head to the Batcomputer in the Batcave and launch that mission again in free play. Everything counts toward your total progress.

Playing in Co-Op? Trophies Still Count

If you are playing with a friend, most trophies will still unlock as normal. Gotham activities, crimes, and combat achievements all stack during co-op play. See our How to Play Co-Op in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight guide for setup help.

Are There Any Redeem Codes That Help?

Yes. Some codes unlock bonus characters or cosmetics, which can make filling out your roster faster. Check our LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Redeem Codes page for the latest active codes.

PC Players – Check Requirements First

If you are going for 100% on PC, make sure your setup can handle long sessions comfortably. Check our LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight PC Requirements guide before you start.

Final Thoughts on the Achievement and Trophy Guide

The trophy list in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is long but very fair. Nothing is hidden behind luck or random drops. Every trophy is tied to something you can control: playing missions, finding collectibles, stopping crimes, and building up your Batcave. The lack of missables is a huge quality-of-life win for completionists.

Take your time during the story. Explore each district before moving on. Build your stud upgrades early. And do not worry about the Platinum slip deadline because there is none — the game lets you finish everything at your own pace.

For more help, check the full All Missions and Chapters Collectibles guide, and visit the official Warner Bros. Games page for the latest news and updates.
