The Golden Rule: Preferred Gifts Always Win

Every character has a list of gifts they personally like. Giving a preferred gift gives significantly more Affinity Points than giving a random non-preferred item. Always check the Gifts tab in the Bond menu before buying anything.

Here is the important part that many players miss: blue and green rarity gifts sometimes give the exact same Affinity Points as much more expensive purple and gold ones. Fluffy Cotton — 400 Affinity Points (Free)

Fluffy Cotton is accepted by most characters and gives a solid 400 Affinity Points each. The best part is that it is completely free. Look for the Compressed Boom Boom Cloud Anomaly inside your home. This anomaly appears in the Wiener Apartments, Eden Apartments, and Fenglin Villa. Interact with it and you get Fluffy Cotton.

The catch is that this anomaly does not respawn every day — you will get around 20 to 25 pieces in a month at most. Because of that, save your Fluffy Cotton for characters whose preferred purchasable gifts are very expensive. Do not waste it on a character who already has cheap and effective gift options available in shops.

Ebisu Royal Tower — 100 Affinity Points (Free)

During the main story, when you reach the Ebisu Auction while searching for Illica, Haniel, and Hathor, a drunken character named Hotori will tell you to take all the food from the tables. Do exactly that. You walk away with around 40 servings of Ebisu Royal Tower platter. Each one gives 100 Affinity Points.
